I see here that autopricing is now supported in Amadeus... Which might mean no more quote to be received from an airline...

This is also in Amadeus ticketing manuals... Can anyone suggest a good agent via PM who can issue a RTW itinerary from Amadeus?

As per this link AR will book RTW business passengers into I-class from 4th Dec 2013. I've looked at SYD-EZE flights for quite a few dates between now and March (when those flights stop) and I can't see any any I-class availability at all. It seems to be zeroed out throughout. Does this effectively mean that from next week we can't use a RTW ticket on that route in business class?

"I" booking class (BC) is not available included today and is not registered in the GDS fares for travel in biz on AR
That could mean another BC for rtw in business, "D" probably, as there are only three BC in business on AR: C,D and J
You should ask to your company, or to a travel agency.

I asked AR and they were very clear that RTW books into I-class. Which is strange because as you say they have no I-fares filed. Someone seems to have messed up!!

Now that you can book RTW online at skyteam.com, you can also see fares for every country (in local currency and before taxes and fees). Unlike the OW and *A tools you do not need to enter a dummy itinerary.

If fees include airline imposed fees such as YR/YQ fuel surcharges, knowing the base RTW fare won't necessarily be very informative. Government fees depend on the route and are pretty much in dependent of the carrier or starting point.

The point is you can get an idea of the cheap origins for RTW fares.

When you put the point of origin (POI) and your second stop, you have access to the "RTW fare bands"
base fare, estimated tax and total estimated fare are available.

foot note:"Please note that the fare displayed is only an estimate, based on the shortest route between the chosen cities, and includes carrier fees, surcharges, and taxes. The actual fares, carrier fees, surcharges, and taxes will be calculated and displayed after the selection of all flights, and once your itinerary is complete. *Exceptions may apply based on higher fees, surcharges and taxes in certain countries."

Only two class are available, eco and biz... no first class, but First is always mentionned in the RTW booking classes, perhaps will it be available next.

As far as I tested ( 20 ) the cheapest POI seem to be from Japan (USD 9381 for 38000 miles in J) followed by Vietnam (USD 9742) and the most expensive from US (USD 15264 for same distance and class) followed by France and Europe (USD 13515)

Fares seem harmonized by zone
