I don't understand how IND gets a lounge with Woodford, and LAS gets nothing.

The ICN KE J lounge, since it moved, is just not the same (even though at first look it looks very similar). Sure, now it has 5 showers instead of 3 (a +), but, now it has small wobbly round tables vs. the long solid table at the edge (looking out at the window), except the very last portion of it, and the Business Centre. Meaning: there is much less space for one to use a laptop now comfortably, and often all the laptop spaces are full. Also far less electric outlets there now. And still just Korea/EU style electric receptacles there; when they moved one would think they'd put it multi-style electric receptacles (like most hotels have), not forcing one with, say, a US or Japan power plug get out an adapter just to plug in.

The brand new AF lounge in Terminal A at IAD, the AF lounge at JNB, and the KL Crown Lounge (52) at AMS are all very, very nice. The KL Crown Lounge (52) at AMS even has a quiet dark room with comfortable chaise lounges where you can doze off.
Honorable mention: Le Salon Lounge (used by all airlines, including KE) at PNH is surprisingly nice and has great desserts, a massage area, and comfy padded love seats where you can stretch out and rest. Plus the bathroom stalls are impeccably clean and private with full-length doors and walls.

Best SCs
So, I was traveling today from DCA and spent some time talking to my colleague about how the clubs have really gone downhill. Overcrowded, drink selection getting smaller, food getting more...interesting.
We started to think about the other lounges we've been in, both on SkyTeam, and with other carriers.
I was thinking about the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at LHR. The place is insane. With the food offerings, hair cuts, massages, etc. it really spoils you.
What would you say is one of the best lounges within the system, what made it so great for you?

I was just at the ICN KE J (Prestige Class) Lounge yesterday and your statement is not true. While most of the receptacles in the lounge take only the Schuko/Europlug, there are separate outlets at the left end of the table that take the standard US/Canada/Japan plugs with 2 flat prongs (including the 3-pronged grounded plugs), and mine fit perfectly into the receptacle. They were identical to the outlets most of us have in our homes in the USA, except the power is 220/240V instead of 110/120V.

Sitting in the IAD AF lounge right now, having come in on the A380 and awaiting my connection to ATL, and agree that it's pretty nice. The decor is nice, nice windows, and the food is honestly better than anything I've had in an AF lounge in CDG. If only it weren't six miles from the DL gates.

It was the day all the Fortune 500 companies decided to leave CVG and everyone was trying to get on the last DL flight out.

For ST standards, the new rooftop SEA SC is quite nice. NRT SC is one of the best for me. For some reason the KE ICN J lounge wasn't rather unimpressive when I visited about a year ago. Lots of seats in a big open space. Crowded and no real food. Did I go to the wrong lounge or has the offering been revamped since?
Food is usually pretty good, it's catered by the Hyatt there.

For DL SkyClubs only:
1. NRT
2. MSP F
3. BOS
If we include international partner:
1. AMS KLM lounge - awesome
2. CDG AF lounges - but they ask for more forms of ID than most of us carry
For as amazing as Changi Airport is in SIN, the lounge Delta accesses is pretty lame.

Now with the downgrade in the ICN lounge (less space for laptop users and big part of what used to be the long table replaced with small wobbly round useless tables), there was nowhere to plug in but the business centre (separate room), and there it was just the Europlugs (at least in all the unoccupied spots, I checked - as I didn't want to dig out my adapter). Good to know that they do have US/Japan style outlets somewhere...though usually those will be all occupied and one won't be able to get to them anyway.

MSP F??? I too think C is better, but food is same. And last I saw (6+ months) ago only difference between MSP and any other SC was the soup, but haven't seen that in awhile.
Breakfast they had fresh fruits, muffins, yogurt, pasta, hot sausage, potatoes, eggs, and various hot noodle dishes.
Yes, PVG. I don't know why so many people knock PVG, did you fly out of the international terminal? I agree domestic isn't anything to brag about, but international is quite good. They always have (during meal times) full assortment of meal items (noodle dish, rice dish, variety of cold sandwiches, small snacks, small cakes/desserts, sometimes sushi, dumplings, fresh fruit, and steamed buns). Show me ANY SC (other than NRT) that has that in and I'll agree PVG is bad.

PVG is nothing more than a sundry counter with a bus terminal seating arrangement.

I find it interesting that you think it was a downgrade. Myself, along with a few other travelers around me at the time, all thought it was a big upgrade. As its a very busy lounge, those small tables actually helped to separate the business travelers from the families as the families all flocked to those. As for the plugs, others have mentioned there are many many outlets of all types around (even if you didn't bring an adapter) and while some of the more prized spots might be on the rail looking out the window, the other seats offer just as much comfort and privacy to work from. I'd have to say it's a big upgrade. The food is top-rate and while the liquor selection lacks a bit, I'd still put it tops on the list.
I just wish they'd add more Internet bandwidth there. How it is now, same as before, every time I've been there it's dead slow and practically unusable.
