OK I'm up to date on that. But I am pretty sure the travel restriction also includes codesharing with US Flag carriers.

I would disagree. At least within *A, there are huge differences in status and redeemable miles earned for various fare classes depending on the FF program to which the miles are being credited. It seems especially noticeable for premium cabins. People therefore discuss how to decide to which FF program a flight should be credited. Within SkyTeam, higher coach fares and AF's PV get 150% MQMs on DL, but only 100-125% on FB IIRC.

MEA has a new Beirut lounge. The Cedar Lounge is open to all ST member FF's.
