A "limo" just means a sedan in German, like Wiggums said.

Solid upgrade. Very nice service on location - I got some treats and cold beverages.

No status (Gold - applied for status match and received no response, trried again and the site was down)

Booked: BMW 5er or equivalent
Received: BMW 530i xDrive

The last time I rented from Sixt at this location, I received a 7er with a 5er reservation. The cars present in the garage early this morning were smaller - a few X5s, several 530is, and numerous 4er/3er/2ers along with a few Volvo S60 and mainstream cars. All of the 5ers in the garage this morning appear to have been in the fleet for some time - this particular car has 17K on it with signs of use, registered in March, but it drives fine. I got a really good rate, so I am pleased.

Status: the status you receive when you sign up, didn't have time to status match from Hertz PC
Booked: Midsize SUV (IFAR)
Received: Standard elite (RFAR)

The app had a bunch of the standard cars that you would expect in that class, so I decided not to select my car in the app and try to talk to the agent for an upgrade or something better. They were initially going to give me a Toyota RAV-4, Chevy Equinox, or Jeep Compass, the RAV-4 and Equinox in base trims, as I walked the lot prior. I knew it was a slim chance of getting upgraded to a BMW X3, but I tested my luck. The agent said it would be $70/day and I most definitely wasn't going to do it when the app offered it for $25/day. She was hesitant on upgrading me beyond what I booked, but I mentioned my status match didn't go through yet and I mentioned the Toyota Highlander in my sight and she gave in. It was only a base trim as well, but I rather have that then what I booked. Staff was nice so being polite back to them goes a long way.

So, I have Platinum with SIXT via a CC; however, I am Excitive Elite with National. I Have considered doing a match to a higher level with SIXT?

Had some mileage on it (>20k), some scuffs, and poverty spec overall (small engine, sport seats, no ACC even). Sad, but I did agree to it myself

You are the highest level with Sixt. Diamond doesnt get matched to, and EE is about on par with Gold on Sixt.

Supposedly post-holidays rush but I just find airports in general to be bad in terms of upgrades. They tried to upsell an X5... which they should’ve just given to me, honestly. Bentley SUV in the aisle which is intriguing.
