minimum connecting time at Changi Airport

A schedule change has compressed my connection at Changi on DPS-SIN-BKK to just 35 minutes. This is a single ticket. I’m also looking at, but haven’t yet booked, my spouse on the same flights on separate tickets.
Got it an email simply notifying me of the schedule change. Itinerary in the App says “schedule change.” No options for selecting different flights are offered. App says call local SQ ticket office.
I take it 35 mins violates MCT and I’ll have to change. Unless another set of changes cascades through the BKK flights. How likely is that? This trip is months out, so can wait and see.
Making a fresh booking, choices are a later SIN-BKK (possibly departing on a later DPS-SIN), or leaving DPS earlier on a SilkSir operated flight. Hmmmmm.

Also , current rule state that transit must be on one ticket/PNR.
