Probably the best lounge would be the SEA AMEX Centurion Lounge, if you have access. UA’s United Club lounge near the A gates is also an option if you have access via a J ticket or *A Gold.
I find the Club at SEA for the S gates to be super crowded since you have multiple airlines using it: NH, SQ, EK, JL, OZ, and so on.

Yes , expect the Club at SEA to get crowded as confirmed by lounge staff but SQ 27 / 28 have been using nearby S gates .

Some time ago, they tore it down (family housing) and extended the hospital or something similar.
I have VERY fond memories of my few years there.
And of the skiing, and backpacking through the rain forest on the Peninsula, etc.
Thanks!

Because Singapore was starting to service Seattle, I thought I would try because of their reputation. So purchased Singapore tickets BKK to SYD RT for the family in July and SEA to BKK RT in Sep. So far every flight has been a problem. On way to Sydney wife & 7 year old daughter bounced out of bulkhead seats which I paid for which boarding pass indicated they were in proper seats, when another couple laid claim to. Then relocated mother/daughter seats not together.
On all segments I paid for bulkhead seats for all. On return from Sydney my boarding pass indicated non-bulkhead seat in middle row. I had ticket showing bulkhead purchase for that flight. The on ground customer service and post flight customer service refused to do anything for me other than refund the bulkhead fee.
The flight was late into Singapore and I missed my BKK connection. They just automatically booked me for the next Singapore flight, which was the next day. I had a nonrefundable reservation at Conrad Hotel and Limousine service by the hotel. Told them I needed to be in BKK today. Flying J class with Singapore, they booked me Economy on TG. When get to the airport in BKK no luggage. No luggage for 3 days and no way to talk to Singapore Airlines customer service on the phone for weekend in. Only clothes that I flew in for 3 days. Nothing from Singapore about refunding difference of segment downgraded to economy.
I don't think there's anything Singapore Airlines can do to win me over. On the return I have a 9 hour overnight layover in Singapore. EVA schedules to SEA/BKK are far superior to Singapore's. So far I have to believe Singapore is the most over rated airline.

I've been flying EVA Airlines for over 25 years with no problems ever. EVA delivers what you pay for.

Our LH flights after , SEA - FRA - ATH , was tight even without delay . Coincidentally , we had something similar happen . We made it and others along with another passenger ‘ s dog , but not our luggage or theirs .
Fortunately , we learnt from past missing luggage incidents ( CI , UA , etcetera ) so carry on another set to change in / or for inflight too these days .
Amanzoe where we stayed provided FOC PJs & such , thankfully , till our luggage arrived a day / an evening later .
MOBKK may have done similar for you unlike Conrad .
SQ on return , from MXP , also did remarkably well for us , even though she slipped somewhat for us since B747 days ..
Flown them since inception
YMMV
But hopefully your return fight , SQ28 ? , is up to SQ norm for us and your issues get addressed by them , compensation even if with miles .
SEA customs / immigration system is mess . Cannot wait for the new international terminal to open !

Pity about the delay and other issues .

The flight was 45 minutes late getting out of SEA, I just assumed they could make it up in the 15 hour 45 minutes. Did notice on the inflight tracker that the flight path was unusually close to the Hawaiian islands verses the normal polar route type path, closer to the Bearing Islands. Additionally, mostly no headwinds and when I noted a headwind only 3 to 5 klm. So because of the lower trajectory/longer distance the flight time increased??
We were gated at T-2 and my connection was at T-3?? My connection Singapore flight door closed while were on the inter airport tram/train. I guess no delaying take off for customers like Southwest does. The gate knew we were in the airport on our way with Singapore escort.

SQ27 ETA 1725. While the last BKK flight depart 1830. Can say that this is pretty tight connection if there is delay for the incoming flight.
I would think you should engage with SQ for compensation for the downgrade (is the TG flight j class full?)

I used to work in Singapore and had roots here in Seattle so would do the trip quite frequently, mostly the dreaded NW flights through Narita. We always dreamed of a nonstop SEA-SIN and the NW staff we knew teased us about rumors of them starting the route when they eventually got 787s that could make the long journey. Great to see this, between DL now flying SEA-PVG, CX doing SEA-HKG and SQ adding SEA-SIN, we have much better access to our old stomping grounds. We cant wait to try the SQ flight.
Seems like CX has some good biz fares originating exKTM and SQ has some exIndia. We’re starting some exKTM tickets this year and think we’ll pick up some exBOM tickets to try SQ when we head back. Requires advanced planning though, SQ revenue management is often tight with the D bucket closer in.
Welcome to Seattle SQ!!!

Makes sense; there's almost no SEA-SIN SQ partner award inventory on AS but loads of SFO-SIN/LAX-SIN.
My early January flight on SQ 28 seems to be mostly full in J, three months out.

Trip update coming soon
Will be on this flight next week, and it seems like all 4 sectors of SINSEASIN are pretty full in Y (just by looking at seat maps)
I'd say about 70-95% full - not bad for a 4 times weekly ULR flight
Booked 2 R/T tickets - 1 originating in SIN (S$900) & the other from SEA-MNL (US$ 450)
- all in Y class (50% earn rate, K class, net 18.5k KF miles approx.)
Will post some updates of life in the back o' the bus as the trip progresses ..
Was looking at some flight stats and it seems like 1/2 the time, it's been delayed in either direction for an hour & up to 2 hours ..

Did you happen to get an update when the new SEA international terminal will be ready ?
The current one is somewhat a zoo .
