SQ28 Seamless to Seattle , indeed !

What an inaugural
It was an enjoyable full flight with great crew up front including the cockpit team . Gorgeous day here - what a fitting welcome !

Will try to post a few photos later . Too jet lagged to figure out .

You are welcome .

There was a lion dance to send off the SEA - SIN SQ 27 inaugural . Met the team / troupe after they ended their performance on the ‘ train ‘ between satellites .

Here is another photo , may “ submit “ one at a time with what happened during previous attempts .. perhaps include the menu later if anyone is interested . Had 2 main meals excluding the rather generous refreshments selection . No breakfast .

Bag of “ tokens “ presented at departure gate & the luggage tag on arrival

Looks awesome!
Thanks for the TR.
Will be doing 2 trips to SEA in Nov. but sadly in the back of the bus ...

May I ask which lounge does SQ use @ SEA?
I'm not familiar with SEA as the last time I visited was back in 2016, it was on ANA but I honestly don't remember which lounge they used ..
I did a quick search but I couldn't find B8 / Terminal 3

Lounge Name Location
Alaska Lounge Location: Multiple Locations.
Centurion Lounge Location: Central Terminal, Airside, Concourse B, opposite Gate B3.
Delta Sky Club Location: South Satellite, Airside, between Gate S8 and S9.
The Club at SEA (Central Terminal) Location: Central Terminal, Airside, Concourse A, across from Gate A11.
The Club at SEA (South Satellite) Location: South Satellite, Airside, next to Gate S9.
United Club Location: Central Terminal, Airside, Concourse A, Airside, gate A9.

.

that B8 terminal 3 is referring to the gate in Changi T3 for the first flight to Seattle.

Thanks sbs2716g
Welcome kaffir76

In SeaTac , it is The Club at SEA ( South Satellite )

Nothing close to SKL ( Silver Kris Lounge ) in Singapore . Do not raise your hopes ..

Been having days of brilliant weather and was hoping to plane spot , to photograph / catch SQ28 & SQ27 inflight but in vain

Probably the best lounge would be the SEA AMEX Centurion Lounge, if you have access. UA’s United Club lounge near the A gates is also an option if you have access via a J ticket or *A Gold.

I find the Club at SEA for the S gates to be super crowded since you have multiple airlines using it: NH, SQ, EK, JL, OZ, and so on.

Thanks!

What equipment was this?
We'll be on our first SQ flight in a few weeks, also in J... first on that long EWR-SIN, and then on to AKL the next morning, two different planes (I mean type of equipment )

And yes, what gorgeous weather in Seattle!
I did my grad work there, and suffice it to say, we all had boots and jackets with hoods.
And I had moved there from... Santa Barbara!
Quite a change, but I loved the Seattle area, and took up skiing that first winter. When the winter sky cleared, the campus emptied...
Alas, now we are less active, but can still enjoy lots of travel!

Thanks for sharing the photos!

SQ flies the A359 longhaul (not ultra-longhaul, so J/Y+/Y) to SEA.

If I understand correctly, having a Singapore Airlines J ticket (SQ27) will gain me entry to UA's United Club lounge?
