This could be a speed record on the distance. They just crossed Lake Superior into Lake Huron. They have been up in the air 16 hours flying at a steady 41,000 ft. I think Airbus will be happy with the aircraft performance. FR24 says estimated landing in 01:11.

erm.... I wonder why this?
Where did you get your information from?
This is 9V-SGB doing the flights, brand new, she had just gotten in from Toulouse.
There is still 9V-SGA available, the first aircraft of the lot.
There is no need that they wait for returning SGB back to home base.

It's not a daily flight this week
Flights are to be launched on 11 October 2018, to Newark Liberty International Airport. The route will initially be served three times a week, departing Singapore on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Daily operations will commence from 18 October after an additional A350-900ULR aircraft enters service.

Can a passenger sit with their feet up (level with their hips) in the A350-900ULR business class seats? I couldn't find any pictures of business passengers with their feet up.

One of my contacts will be on board the return flight from Newark to Singapore in Y Premium..
Waiting to hear from the FT'ers who were on board SQ22.with their reports and impressions.
I suppose a number of passengers were guest-ed by Singapore Airlines, from the media, and others.
Was there a party atmosphere on the flights? Could you all swap from Y Premium to Business and back freely and at your own will? Was there Champagne for the whole flight all the way through?
What was it like for Y Premium passengers comparing with Business?
How did you feel about the flight all things considered?
