Hoping this means more space between rows like the 777-300ER... not necessarily fixing the foot cubby issue.
Wasn't an extra/enlarged galley the reason for the lost of one row of seats? I didn't notice an appreciable difference in row space btw the 77W and A350.

SQ22 inaugural Capt Leong tells us that 9V-SGB is on tonight's flight, says he has just flown it back from TLS and so this will be its first commercial flight.

For those who are really into routes, here are the finer details:

And close-ups for each section:

Haven't been advised of any recommended hashtags for the inaugural, which will of course have WiFi for some above-the-clouds social media, but I'd think #SQ22 should be a likely starter.

Cool, I'd love to get some snaps of the premium economy meals if I get the chance, but will maybe pop down during the flight to say g'day.

The flight must have boarded by now. Any noteworthy celebrations at the gate?

Thanks for the link. Interesting and very brief clip of Richard Quest asking the captain some questions.

P.S. Has anyone ever understood what is happening in a Bourne movie?

From those reports:

I’m on board Singapore Airlines record-breaking inaugural world’s longest passenger flight from Singapore to New York
Not record breaking, broke that record years ago, when the inaugural flight happened before it was suspended. Got to hand to SQ for the publicity around the restarting of this route.
