Have any GC or GGL received a welcome of new luggage labels/card?
I became GGL for the first time, I thought the new BAC might send out a welcome pack with card and luggage labels but its now June and nothing. Not even a thank you for your loyalty.
I know that this lack of respect for customer loyalty maybe the norm but I was hoping it would get better with the emphasis on premium customers.

Aallegedly these are being printed, but who knows. You used to get a physical membership card, two luggage tags and two personalised golden tickets (as opposed to doing it online). There was some rumours of 8 weeks from the beginning of April so maybe they will appear soon (or maybe not, this is BA after all)

My old tier point year ended March 2025, and I got (without asking) a new GGL physical card, luggage tags, and whatever the card is you are meant to give for good service but obviously don't carry with you. The date on the letter was "March 2025" though I'm pretty sure I didn't get it until late April or possibly May. Since my "short year" (of one month) I have not received yet another.

If you spent 60k / ~$80k with Delta (Diamond and probably Delta 360) or American (probably CK) they at least send you nice bag tags. I just completed the Delta status match to Platinum and the metal bag tags and tie look indestructible. My luggage handle is more likely to break off.

That's one thing I don't get with either BA or VS. Both of them are too cheap to produce a bag tag when it probably isn't a big cost outlay. Having moved over to QF FF (regardless of QF's own woes) at least they give me an actually nice bag tag for each tier I reach.

Some of us are old enough to remember physical plastic cards for Blue. It was nice to receive one to replace the perforated paper ‘card’ you could tear out of the in-flight magazine to join BAEC. 1992.
