Ferrari’s , also at The Four Seasons, is not bad (other than QPR for Italian food). Make a reservation for a table where you can see the fire dance.
Limited menu, not quite walking distance but best fish due to local connections, is Lineage.
Hope Morimoto’s got better, I had to send my fish back.
All data points from oct 2022.

Spago at the Four Seasons has been consistent for me (but not others)

We ordered the duck and it was gamey and brought to the table with its head and feet still on(could turn someone vegetarian)
Might have been a one off as had solid experiences at Spago Las Vegas in all regards and did have great meals At Spago Maui in the past
There is a Ruth Chris and Wolfgangs Steakhouse in a nice shopping mall also withing walking distance or using the Andaz house car
Ferraro's was just ok but the smell of rotting fish ruined the experience as it was heavy in the air

also, given multiple recommendations about Four Seasons restaurants, I'd like to emphasize it's within walking distance indeed. Just be sure to take the beachfront trail, not the road. (Both are walkable, but the former is a much nicer experience.)

I can't suggest anything at nearby hotels. but will second the recommendation for Lineage. Even though it's a small chain, we also liked Monkeypod Kitchen. As far as the on-property restaurants go, we did enjoy the Chef's Table at Ka'ana Kitchen but like beachfan we were disappointed with Morimoto and would not go back.
I really don't think Monkeypod has good food, personally. It's bar food, and not great bar food. But the Mai Tai is for real.

Went to Lineage for the first time on our last visit a couple of weeks ago. Had their popular dishes Korean fried chicken and lobster noodles. Not that impressed to be honest and would not return.
Spago's we go to quite a lot and is normally very good but is pricy.
Morimoto we go to quite a lot and generally have a good meal - it is however not as good as before and the menu has shrunk.
Nobu at the Grand Wailea has improved since it opened
Spoon and Key is reasonable.
The best new restaurant to open is Koast which we went to twice on our last stay and had a great meal both times.
Marlow - up country in Kula town centre is very good for pizza.
Wolfgang's Steakhouse is no more.
Ferraros at the Four Seasons is ok but Four Seasons prices.
MonkeyPod is only any good for the Mai Tais - the food is pretty dire.
There is also now Aurum at Wailea shops which seems quite popular - not eaten there though.

Currently here - arrived yesterday on an inter-island flight which was like a fairground ride given the awful conditions here.
Maui and all the islands have been hit very hard by this storm.

Beach is more or less gone

Front entrance wall gone

Large tree gone - one of many all around the island.
Due to the conditions, staff have been finding it difficult/impossible to get in and the hotel has been operating a reduced service. Kaana Kitchen dinner last night was a simple buffet and breakfast this morning was probably the longest we have ever waited for a table.
On positive news, the fruit at breakfast is now served again without the rind/skin on it and melon etc cut into pieces.

if they follow the same pattern as with espresso drinks, that will apply to globalists, and that's definitely a letdown.
while we're on it, did they offer globalists 15% discounts on all the food previously? I feel like this is new this year. 15% off all the food and n/a drinks and the spa services. That's pretty sweet. Given that I rarely order eggs for breakfast, I'd probably choose 15% off everything over free eggs. (Of course, would be nicer to have both, but looks like everyone's cutting costs these days.)
they also offer points for skipping housekeeping now, which is new this year. You could always skip housekeeping of course, but now you get 1,000 points for that. Obviously not much, but every little bit helps. (Hey, you only need to skip housekeeping 40 times to earn a free night in pre-devaluation prices, lol.)

This is just petty nonsense... eggs to order are free at (some) Hyatt Houses where rates are $100.

I was here over spring break for a second visit (excellent stay overall). There is a 15% food discount for globalists. It doesnt apply to Morimoto and alcoholic drinks, but should apply everywhere else. You have to tell your servers at time of ordering as otherwise your checks would need to be adjusted, which is a pain for the front desk during checkout. They give you a card that you're supposed to show to get the 15%.
