That JFK-BRU flight this Fri 12/26 is showing: Z9 P3 A3 G0 W0 S0
Note that since C+ is not available, that usually makes the DL system not show ant FCM offers.

booked a RT LAX-PDX in coach. Upgrade offer for $95 each way. Checked the 'change flight' option and to change to First (Z) was $195 so only $5 more than the upgrade route. I took the latter, also since it was well below my typical threshold of $1/minute flight time.

Finally a good (maybe great) upgrade offer. Was booked in PS SEA-TPE, and the offers for the past few weeks have been $2,000-$4,000 - so that was a no for me. This evening while sitting in a traffic jam, something nudged me to check my booking on the Delta app, and low and behold the offer was now $699. I grabbed it - considering my PS ticket was only $650. Had two windows to choose from, 6A and 8A, so I had to take one of those and hope an odd number row seat opens up later on before the flight.
I think this was a great offer, but some might consider it just OK or average. But I'm happy with the result.

It's probably the best Delta is ever going to offer, but I do think they still win huge with the marketing trick of $999 + $999 sounding worlds better to customers as two separate purchases than a $2,000 ticket. In this case if I understand it sounds like you're now in for $1,349 on a half-round-trip basis which is a pretty good fare although not shocking for the SEA-TPE route which seems to be particularly distressed at the moment at least based on past sales (especially for miles).
Ive never seen Taiwan on sale from the US or Canada in business since the old days of the ex-YVR el cheapo J fares before the virus when we regularly flew round trip in business for $1,800-2,200.
After looking at this ticket again, I think snagging PS for $650 made this all work especially as the same cabin more than doubled in price since then, making a similar upgrade offer closer to retail J in total cost.
Or to put it another way, after a few days of reflection, Im very excited about this deal.

Currently Delta wants $2,800-3,000 one way on this route which is in line with most airlines whether originating in California or Seattle, so Im sitting roughly 50% off although I need to slum it in C+ up to Seattle first.

Yeah, might be my mistake on only awards vs. revenue. Although yes, a $650 PE fare is quite good these days.

I'm flying TUL - ATL - MIA next month, booked main classic through my company's travel portal yesterday. I immediately logged in to my account and it was >$300 each leg to upgrade to FC and I was like "F that!!!" It was roughly 2,000 miles each to upgrade to C+, so I was like what the heck. Now when I look again, first is completely X'd out TUL - ATL and all unoccupied seats ATL - MIA are also X'd out - basically it doesn't look like I can now upgrade even if I wanted to pay a usurious amount. There are no upgrade offers when I access my trip, either, which there were prior to me upping to C+. Can you only do one upgrade? I swear I've bumped to C+ and then FC before after booking main. And I really don't think the cabin, especially TUL - ATL, sold out completely and no has picked a seat so they're all X'd out since yesterday. Anyone know what might be up?

Hi!
Is there an advance period prior departure before those cash upgrades are offered?
I have a flight in more than 100 days (unusual for me) - and the outbound could not be booked in D1/ FC - connecting through JFK from SFO - inbound somehow worked.
So I was planning on cash upgrade. But despite the D1 cabin is totally empty (upgrade list shows 36 available seats) - no cash offer is available. Neither for the connecting flight in the FC cabin.
And as a Platinum - also the comfort plus seats can not be selected nor were available at ticketing
