How to get e-ticket receipt PDF file?
This past few weeks I've booked tickets on a bunch of airlines: KLM, Air Europa, Air France, Qantas, Air New Zealand, LATAM and Avianca. Each of these except KLM and Air France emailed to me e-ticket receipts as PDF files. As a back-up I like to have paercopies with me (I know that's old fashioned what with mobilephone apps) and for one trip I'm linking multiple flights togther and not always going landside. I called the PSL to request the PDFs for the all the KL and AF tickets and I was emailed (just as automatically after purchase) the Ticket for your trip emails oncew agaion and these don't include the e-ticket receipts (and the are not formatted for printing).
Has AF-KL 100% stopped sending these? I used to get them on AF tickets.

Thanks for looking at that, but it just sent me the same Ticket for your trip email, without the attached PDF file of the e-ticket receipt. That email is not formatted for printing.

Thanks for replying.
My KLM flights were booked on the KLM website. Even if I view those trips on the Air France Your Bookings, it just sends me the same Ticket for your trip email from KLM.
My Air France flights were booked by phone to the PSL. And they forwarded on the same KLM logoed Ticket for your trip emails - I don't know why. So I'm not getting the PDFs sent to me. The 074 ticket number is given on this AF ticket.
The Ticket for your trip email does not print out correctly when viewed in the browser as a proper e-ticket receipt when provided.
So it's all a deadend.

Indeed, KLM no longer sends PDF attachments. If you need a PDF of some sort you can use the "request invoice" functionality in MMB which will send a PDF invoice. Not quite the same as an eticket receipt but it has some of the relevant information. Not the actual itinerary though.

Thanks for the comments.
Lesson learned that the PSL ticket on KL 074 stock for both AF and KL tickets. I will have to remember to use the AF website from now on. I fly on KL more than AF so subconsciously gravite to the KL website!

There may be price differences between the two websites, though. I also prefer the AF PDF eticket however for expensing purposes never had an issue with a printout from KLM. For me its not big enough of a problem to choose the AF website over the KL one if the KL has a better offering (route/price).

I'm with the OP on this, always felt it a bit "cheap" for KL not being able to issue a PDF. BA also had this same feature, I think still does. A PDF ticket brochure gives the info in a concise and easily accessible (and printable!) form in a -- mostly -- single page.
And indeed, the same flights sold by AF can often be notably pricier, mais naturellement!

I meant to add that the differences can be seen often on Google Flights, with quoted price for AF stock being much higher. But that would have diluted the joke.
I guess one could find itineraries showing the exact opposite too.
