The Chicago Bears play the Detroit Lions in Detroit on Thursday evening. I'll bet that's the reason for this movement.

So all or some of those ferry flights might have in fact been charter flights?

Two segments have charter flight numbers; the others are ferry flights. My big, beautiful N24988 gets to visit the Windy City!

A friend of mine got the chance to step onboard the aircraft and he told me its in a similar configuration as the current 787s, aka no new seats/IFE system.

On a side note, does anyone know why united has been scheduling A321neos on Premium transcontinental routes? Over the last couple weeks I've seen a few.

Scheduling? Or just subbing when a 752 that was scheduled is out of order/availability?

It is because the 752's are being used on more transatlantic routes where the revenue is better. Especially in the summer. You will be lucky to get a 752 doing a relocation from EWR to ORD or to IAD or vice versa.

I think its consolidated into this thread BOS-SFO was PS, was Business, now First, UC no/yes?, service levels? summer no 752s

Huh? The context of the 752 was on the premium transcon routes: EWR/SFO-LAX. If you or the OP have any data that shows that A321s are regularly being scheduled on those routes, please let us know.

530 will go to SkyWest, just hasn’t happened yet

The CR7’s in TUS is routine maintenance. The fleet has been rotating through for 2-3 months each all summer. The first CR7 should exit in late December though as new E175SC’s are delivered. I haven’t been posting the routine maintenance for the UAX fleet as it’s so common.

Understandable. Same for the one in PSP?

I wonder if the 19 CR7s will end up as CR5s in time. I think I read elsewhere that GoJet would handle all CR5 conversions, even if they were for SkyWest/Delta - would that occur in STL?

Looking forward when A321s in - new - lie-flat configuration will show up. Can't imagine current 321s being regularly scheduled on LAX/SFO - EWR.

Those will be the A321 XLR and not the current A321 Neos. Curious to see what the seating configuration will be on those XLR - if it is the rumored herringbone, then not a fan.

Definitely will be all-aisle access.
