Certain a343s do not have belts on the ottomans, and the crew would not allow face to face dining on these. B773s have additional inside window settings, while a343s just have the regular windows. There must be further minor differences. (In C, I noticed that the electrical plugs where not located at the same place on a343s and b773s, although the seats look very similar.)

Question relating to A340-300
So we just flew in to Singapore from Zurich.
It was a good flight, only 25 passengers across the whole aircraft. Food service was great with plenty of snack runs through the night, including ice cream and sandwiches.
Anyway, what I wanted to ask was this..
Why do the middle row of Y seats have foot rest and leg rests while the window rows do not? Like I said, it wasn't an issue as the flight was empty and we could move where we wanted, I'm just interested to know why.. HB-JMA, if it helps
Thanks

One of the A340 now moving from LX to Edelweiss - pity the money spend on refurbishment. LX brings back an A330 from storage instead

WK will most likely install their own onboard product with the weird Y+ in front and the smaller J in the middle setup. It is such a shame that it is being ripped out so soon. Maybe some of the seats can be reused for the A330 refurbishment, although we are supposed to get a new F, C and Y product there...
Or maybe they could leave the LX interior and finally start their flights to HNL. (The WK setup is to dense and the A343s lack the range with that many PAX that the WK layout allows). Although this additional A343 is supposed to help take up pre-Covid routes again, so I guess it will be configured with the WK layout.

I don't see any problem tbh. Expanding long-haul on WK worked pretty well imho. I really don't think F could be removed on enough routes without at least loosing out on some F demand to warrant such a sub-fleet approach. Also the thought of B789s at LX sends shivers down my spine.
