The easier gateway for those going back across the Atlantic would probably be CDG, no? Closer, shorter flight, no UK departure tax built into overall cost. My $.02.

Yes -- but the SQ A380 tour is to take place at LHR...

Missed that part. Departure taxes seem like a small PITA for that.

Well, nothing is set in stone yet. I'm approaching Mr. CO Insider to get some good prices to/from the US in BF. Both xyzzy and I are meeting him in a couple of weeks

I have invited my dear friend Tony, the genius behind the by far best restaurant in Norway, Palace Grill to take care of catering and wines on board. ^^
