Thanks. I do have time to kill, I need to wait for other people to arrive at a later flight. So would like to grab some lunch at the priority pass participating restaurants in T3. But sounds like its not possible.

Both options involve re-clearing security. There is an airside connection from T1-C (Delta) to T2 (Alaska, American), but that won't help you here. Keep in mind that you can't walk directly from Terminal 1 to International-A, where the Air France lounge is (Priority Pass). You would need to take the AirTrain red line one stop. The AF lounge is nice, but the food/drink options are pretty ordinary.

It's a relatively short walk from T1 to T3, but as noted above, this means re-clearing security. Whether that's worth it to you depends on how much time you have and how much you value the $28 credits for SF Giants Clubhouse and Yankee Pier (okay options, but nothing special).

Thanks for the info. I would re clear security since I have 2 hours to kill. But Ill be landing there and then waiting for the rest of my party. So I wont have a valid SFO boarding pass to re clear security. Unless they take a same day LAX boarding pass haha

I have had a few situations over the years where I had to cancel my flight to LAX or Reno after clearing security. Good thing I had a refundable ticket (wink). It helped my conscience to know the flights had plenty of seats open, so I didn't cost the airlines any real money.

BTW, I'm happy to see more Priority Pass options at SFO, but those are two of the least interesting restaurants at the airport. There are number of really good ones.

I've eaten at Yankee Pier a couple of times, but not recently. It was pretty decent. And free (up to $28 or whatever, excluding tip) is hard to argue with -- assuming that your Priority Pass plan gives you a free visit there. The fact that it is in the United domestic terminal, post-security, is a big plus. (I'm not keen on PP clubs/restaurants that are in a faraway terminal, and some are even pre-security at some airports.)

Yes, I guess there's a lot to be said for $28 in free food and drink at a good-enough restaurant.

Does anybody know how long the wait time at TSA Precheck for Terminal 2 is? I'd be there for a 7am departure on Alaska on a non-holiday weekend Sunday.
I was hoping to go to the Centurion Lounge in T3 at like 6am and eat a fast breakfast and hopefully go back to T2 (I know I'd have to re-clear security). Don't know how feasible it is though. Thanks.

I'd plan 20 minutes from the Centurion Lounge to be airside T2, although sometimes T2 security can take longer than expected. AS might be boarding your flight at T-40 to 45, if your plane is there. If you want to eat, I'd be at the T3 security checkpoint at 5:30.

Yes, for a long stretch I never had to wait in any SFO Precheck line more than 10 minutes. T2 broke my winning streak, but I don't think I've ever waited more than 15 minutes there. I wonder if perhaps the American and Alaska passengers at SFO are for some reason more likely to be enrolled in Precheck than SFO passengers, generally.

Good call. I love the SFO Centurion Lounge, but it's often crowded. If you're adding an extra trip through security, you should consider whether the free stuff is worth the additional hassle.

I arrive on the UA SIN-SFO evening flight that arrives in SFO at 8:45 pm. Will Pre-Check be open anywhere?
