No limit on Hilton Redemptions
E-rewards currently has no limit on Hilton redemptions. I know it isn't the best use of points but for HH members who have a lot of E-reward currency to burn this could be a good use of some.

"No limit on Hilton" works from 01.01.2017

I know E-rewards keeps getting worse and worse about mining data before screening out, but this has to be the most egregious yet. After completing 97% of a survey about shopping, I get the "this study has received the number of responses required" message.
I was able to go back and grab a screen shot of the last question I completed before disqualification. I'm sure complaining to them will be ignored or get the usual response that they have no control over the surveys, but completing 97% of a long survey for a .25 payout is ridiculous. So be warned, if you get a survey about shopping from d.researchnow, either skip it or screen yourself out. |

Well...
the worst e-miles gets, the better e-rewards appears, even with all of its flaws and surprise termination of accounts.

Yep, I participated in a wine survey that had 5 sections which I completed. About 35 minutes worth for $8.25 in currency. I was then asked if I would complete a 6th section for no additional reward. I did. Then I was asked if I would join a "wine" panel for future research. I did. Then when I hit the "next" button, wham! I got kicked out of the survey due to not meeting the requirements for which they were looking. BS! I immediately contacted E-rewards and let them have it and told them that this was the biggest scam I had seen yet with them. I then demanded that they credit my account with the $8.25 in currency. Out of the goodness of their hearts, they did. But, then told me that I did not fit the demographics of the survey participants as the reason for getting kicked out of the survey. Again, BS! 35-40 minutes for $0.25? No.

Latest survey scam from erewards this week for me, banking providers survey at the end asks for personal details then disqualifies you?
Pre-qualification question, does your organisation earn more than 500m or less than 500m on a drop down box, each selection tried and both fail? |
Lots of disqualifications over the past month or so, yet I still get many regular emails from E-rewards.
Noticed on the most recent emails, that they came from "e-Rewards.NET". Started me wondering if they weren't really from e-Rewards, since their website is a .com, rather then a .net. Emails look totally real, with no misspellings or errors, and address me by my first name, as before from the previous emails that actually worked in the past for their surveys. Has anyone else noticed similar .net emails from e-Rewards, and actually finished a survey received from that emailed link? Scam emails over a period of time? Thanks, bj-21. |
Back in the old days, servers were separated by domains based on utility, with .com often used as a domain for web page serving servers, and .net being email servers. Of course, we've moved away from that trend now, but that could be a relic of the past.

With all the shortcomings of E-rewards, I still say they are far better than e-miles. When e-miles changed their format it made it harder to accumulate, lots of data mining for low payout. I have 307 emiles, need 193 to reach 500 and cash out. I have not noticed the E-rewards .net/.com issues, however, I have been kicked out several times at the >90% survey completion, on surveys that are well over 15 minutes or so in participation. Somehow they have shifted their preliminary question profile and have then scattered throughout the survey, back in the days used to be at the beginning, and the qualification requirements where very simple, age, location, sex, employment and ethnicity. Now they need home ownership, education, income, filed of work, how many members of family, do you have cell phone, etc. just way to much.

I'm enjoying Hilton's change to unlimited redemptions. Every two to three weeks, I cash out for 4,500 points.
|
can only complete about 10% of surveys because keep being kicked out near the end. these guys are a joke

Any UK account holders being offered a 200 point survey on "Home & Family" from Intellisurvey today, skip it or screen yourself out asap.
The intro promises a time of 9 to 10 minutes. You are then presented with the demographic questions. The estimated time then changes to 15 to 20 minutes. After you have answered a whole series of questions on how much you have spent on computers, domestic appliances and your car, you are then told you don't quality. This type of dishonesty really gets my goat. Please don't feed them. |
The one about jewellery and watches is a scam too.

Survey for your child to answer Q on brand toys scammed me this week. It asks for your child to answer their impression of brands, we did and not in a negative way and it threw our child out of the survey.
I think it's based on a point system, they enter what points the threshold is and if you fall below their criteria even after completing successful the profiling your gone! |
Unless you really like long surveys, don't bother with the survey on chicken fast food restaurants. KFC asks about every little detail about your last experience eating at one. Such as -- were the napkins brown or white? Was there a logo on the napkins, or not? Were the napkins in a bulk self-serve container or pre-packaged with a utensil? And did you fetch the napkins yourself or were they provided with the meal? There were ENDLESS questions about the food itself.
I acurately told the survey that the last time I ate chicken fast food was about two months ago. So how KFC, expected me to remember things like whether the mashed potatoes came in a styrofoam container or a plastic container, I don't know. |
Last month I took a survey on tennis. At the end of the survey I was asked to enter my email address and in return, I would receive a $20 Amazon gift certificate. About a week later, e-rewards informed me that they made a mistake in making that offer and credited my account with $10 in e-rewards currency. I complained and they told me they have no Amazon gift certs to give out and credited me with another $10 in e-rewards currency.

For example, a $25 iTunes or Starbucks gift certificate costs $75 in erewards currency. :( So you got cheated. They should have given you at least $60 worth of erewards bucks. |
Is it just me or are we receiving a lot more 100 & 200 point surveys since last week? On average I used to get 300 - 500 pts per survey.

Scam survey alert!
on mobile pocket picture printers, completed and does not go to feedback star page for rewards, just disqualifies you. I got it again on rewards for opinions so gave it a go thinking it was previously a one time glitch that day and no, scammed me a 2nd time - no rewards page. |

I also got a message that my account was inactivated when I tried logging on. I contacted them and asked why? I received an email from an Andre, that my inquiry was under review and it may take a few days. After a week and not hearing back from them, I contacted them again to inquirer. They, Andre, told me it was taking a bit longer and that they should have an answer by the end of the week. Well the week past an no reply from Andrea or anyone. After a month went by from my first contacting them I again contacted them. Now I received a reply from Andre that they identified several discrepancies in my account and that my account was terminated and that I could no longer participate in e-reward surveys. I contacted Andre again and asked, what were the discrepancies that I supposedly had violated. All I got back was, "As stated, discrepancies were identified with your account and it has been terminated permanently. All points I had accumulated lost. I found this forum and knew I needed to share my experience.....

Be careful with an Opinionbar survey. They ask you for your house number and street address. Then they ask you for the financial institutions with which you have accounts and the value of those accounts. Then they ask what credit cards you have and with which banks etc... Is e-rewards being negligent by allowing Opinionbar to do this survey? Why would anyone with a brain honestly answer such survey questions?

Ok, this is odd...

Today, 5 months later, out of the blue, I get an email from them that my account is reactivated. Not that I'm not grateful, but wonder what prompted that???? Maybe Publisher House Sweepstakes will notify me that I did win that contest back in 1985 after all :p |
I'm in the UK and Virgin Airlines has disappeared of the list of redemption companies in the last three weeks...a blip or forever?

Either that, or it's a lone wolf employee that's reinstating them :D
|
If that's true...

Maybe someone has read this thread and realised what a PR battering they are getting.
|
Their facebook page is full of complaints too.
I would not be surprised if someone contacted their attorney general, and they're quietly reinstating accounts to prevent legal issues. |

Just maybe they had a "lone wolf" employee who got his kicks terminating accounts at random, he got his cover blown and now they are trying to undo the damage...ok, that's pure speculation, humor, and creative imagination, but it sure would make for a good story!
shortly after i attempted to log in and says account inactive. im so angry right now. i had i think 60+ edollars in there, i knew i should have redeemed them first before answering those sneaky questions. let that be a lesson to all of you when they start asking personal questions instead of potential survey screeners, clear your account first!!! |
Anyone else having a problem redeeming for United miles? I've been trying for the past three days and every time after hitting "submit", i get this :confused::confused:
"Sorry, there is a problem processing your request. Please try again later." |
I redeemed last week for UA without issue.
