I have since made an effort to slow things down a bit when I answer surveys, just to be safe.

THIS! I was given a similar reason why I was disqualified towards the end of the survey even though the screen shot shown 98% complete - that the speed was too fast for the survey design that the answers were deemed not authentic.
OTH, if you paused too much or answered too slow (as like going to the kitchen to make a drink), the survey would kick you out and actually told you why so. I just experienced this a few nights ago.

I don't recall ever being told the exact reason for the suspension, just that I had violated some rule, or perhaps they had seen what they determined was unusual activity. That of course only increases your frustration over the suspension, as you don't know how to go about refuting the alleged reason for the suspension.

Not sure this has ever been my experience. I've walked away to grab lunch, or been interrupted by a lengthy phone call and forgotten I was mid-survey, only to return several hours later and still finished the survey. Only when the delay was patently excessive (i.e. returning the next day to an open survey), do I recall getting kicked out. In fact, if I spot a potentially high-reward survey shortly before I need to leave the house, I'll go ahead and start the survey to hold my place, then pick it back up after returning home, and rarely have a problem.

I am surprised this is still going. never felt the time invested was worth the points

Everyone is different. I don't spend a great deal of time and energy on these surveys, just knocking off a few when I have some down time and they are generally offering me surveys in the range of at least 4-5 rewards points per survey. I earn enough points each month to redeem for United miles at the rate of 2,000 miles/month or 24,000/year, plus a few $50 Apple gift cards here and there. I consider that a reasonable return on my time investment.

That has been my experience too. It used to be I'd get an automated response that indicated they never even read what I sent. Then for the past few years they would always give me full or partial credit. Then I went a long time without having to contest one. Last month I had two in a row that went all the way to the end and "sorry" - and their response was I must have gone too fast, blah blah blah and no reward.

I see a discussion here about getting suspended. That used to happen to me all the time when they would ask for comments after a survey...but they would always reinstate me. It seemed to only happen when i was $5 short of a reward :-0

Last night I had a 4pt on internet security specifically on how Google and Amazon handled their customers data. Spent 18min on the 20min survey then met a technical error.

The URL above does not include the proper information to be included in this survey. Please review your invite email for the proper URL, and contact the individual specified if problems persist.
ERROR: SE-02 Variable list has invalid value ''

In the past such cases almost always got manual adjustment. This time got a rep replied that they could not award survey that was not completed. I shot back to emphasize the Whole Reason I could not complete was the Technical Error which you had a screen shot to prove it. Will see if I even receive a reply from this. LOL.

I believe whether you get manual adjustment largely depending on your luck on which rep you get - some are more reasonable some are sticklers to the book - survey not completed, no credit - whether it is a 1.5 or a 4/5 pt. Reasonable reps would even give partial credit such as a 90% completed 2.5pt would be manually credited 1.5pt, just a few days ago.

My Points these days no longer do manual adjustments. Instead they give a double pts bonus good for first 3 completed survey within a week's time when this offer is in place. Choose judiciously to make the most use of such "bonus offer".

The truth. That I was a very long-time member, very regular participant, and I had done nothing that would be considered fraudulent or a violation of the rules. I was polite, expressed my appreciation for the program, as well as any help they could give me in reinstating my account. E-rewards did, Opinion miles did not. Of the two programs, losing e-rewards would have been a much greater loss.

Here's my caveat: This is going back several years, so no telling if either program is currently receptive to a request for review. I do recall that at least one of the incidents seemed to be the result of a technical problem on their end, but they never explained what happened, just that I was reinstated.

Definitely the case lately. I’m sure they have implemented timers on questions. I find I’m screened out after a min or two if I’m answering the first line of questions too fast. I think it’s to do with bots doing surveys. The amount of additional questions under checking your paying attention has quadrupled

I’ve poked around Dynata’s corporate site a few times- it’s how I learned about their reorganization bankruptcy a while back- and there was another press release about how they’re using AI models themselves to try to screen out bots answering surveys so they could get better data for their customers.

By accident, I have been served a few times during surveys recently a scoring display for each question. I think the system calculates a score as you proceed through and if you fall below their score requirements your booted out.

Avios is not instant. It is a batch process once a week. I don’t remember it posts on Mon or Tue. Same for AA. The cut off for a week is Saturday or Sunday. Mikes posted on Tuesday with a note said earned on Monday.

Something never experienced before at redemption.

When hubby redeemed his AA miles 20 min ago he accidentally pressed the submit button before inputting his AA credentials. The screen showed the errors at the required fields. However after he input those, and pressed the agree on Terms and Conditions, the site went into a ID verification mode.

It gave an option of Verifying now / May be later, but it would not let hubby to choose Later. So he went along to verify his ID which required a picture of the doc Tharp can be DL/Resident Permit/passport etc. So he ket the machine took pix of DL front and back, then it wanted a selfie if him. Did that. The site showed the process of multiple steps in finishing verification and then it went back to the T&C agreement screen.

However when hubby press the agree option it wouldn’t go thru, it kept throwing out error message yet the upper panel said Verification Complete with clickable box FINISH, but it would not go to next screen no matter what he clicked! . It also would not let him cancel the redemption either. Finally he somehow used another tab to start all over. This time the site did not initiate the sending of one time code step, apparently the one sent before the new verify ID thing popping up was still valid. The redemption then went thru without glitch, just as many times before.

My guess is, his accidentally press the SUBMIT redemption button without FFP credentials had thrown the AI off into an endless loop even after Verify ID was finally successfully done. Will see when I have enough to redeem from my own account would experience same issue.

I have earned with Iberia Avios throughout this year and the credit was always instantly untill last week. I have two Iberia redemptions on hold since then.
