Got a failure at the last screen after the T&C confirmation screen on an AA redemption last night. A red banner popped up said verification failed that was AFTER entering the verification code (else the T&C screen would not show up I believe). There was a message basically said although the phone verification is submitted, our system has issues to verify it. It will take up to 72 hours to process. blah blah. I accidentally changed screen before taking a screen shot.

The usual emails coming with the redemption are out of sequence. Usually there are 3 emails - 1st is to confirm the mobile verification is successful, 2nd is Redemption Confirmation, 3rd is the Congrat with the redemption details. Last night the Mobile Verification email came after the Redemption Confirmation. I hope that is why the error message is triggered.

Despite the error message 100pts are deducted and the award activity shows the redemption is pending. Oddly last week's 25pts redemption for 500 miles redeemed on a Sunday also shows pending but AA posted it on Wed. I did the 25pts redemption to test if redemption on Sunday would miss the batch processing deadline or not. When redeemed on Sat AA always shows the miles on Tue with the receiving date on Mon and Posting date. Last Sun redemption AA showed received on Mon posted on Wed. So Sunday redemption works as long as it is not in the late evening, I guess.

On another note last night at one point none of the survey link worked. Every single one led to a screen showing system error. It resumed to normalcy 30 min later. I thought about to wait till Sunday to redeem after the system was stabilized. But since I was able to successfully do a 1pt survey I figured the system went back to normal so went ahead to redeem. Alas, I will know on coming Tue whether the miles posted or I have to open a ticket with eRewards!

1st 2K did not do anything.
2nd 2K produced a 1334 EQM.

my 1st 2 in 26 got the 1000 my 3rd & 4th got 667 my 5th and 6th got 1000 then the next 20 got only the 667

in '25 the 1st one each week got 0 then the ones after got 1000, cant figure out what they are up to stopped at 55k in 25 since by the time I figured it out I wasnt gonna get to 75k, thought this year I know the system and 75k will be a slam dunk, now not so sure

I also have been receiving a blank white screen today after completing surveys. One survey credited but another did not..
I’m receiving white screens after every survey completion too, some credit and some not but frustrating

75*3 =225. 225/12=18.75. You need to earn 19k a month to achieve it unless you also have flying, spend on CC and of course partner award flights to add to it. Last year I had a few long haul partner awards that helped yet still fell short of even 20k eqm. AS offered me to buy the bal for $500. Baturely I passed. LOL.

The system now showed status pts in account activity, I redeemed a total of 4 x2K in 2026. Each one got 667 shown in point activity. I suspect despite the 1st 2K has not done anything back in 3rd week of January, AS system has finally caught up and now posts EQM pro rate based on the 1K per 3K partner miles earned as soon as the eReward redemption hits AS system. So it is 667 per 2K reward from eRewards. I need to do better this year to at least get to 20K EQM, meaning earning 60K from eReward to achieve the lowest rung of the tiers. Problem is whenever you are outside of US you could not do survey in your downtime. So I have roughly 2 months a year there is no earning, as in I only have 10 months to pursuit this effort.

Another reason is of course the availability of working survey. This is truly a luck of draw. There are spells nothing work while occasionally everything works. Though I never have luck on high value survey or even there is one would be screened out quickly. If it takes a lot longer to be screened out or quota full I open a ticket. I will no longer let them get away with such behaviors/poor survey designs.

I have had that after first few screens in a number of surveys every now and then. It depends on how much time and efforts spent on opening a ticket. I now follow a poster’s lead many pages ago, make screen shots along the whole process after being cheated so many times. There is about 99% success rate in resolution, depending on agents, some are more sympathetic some are not so much. Some literally wanted to deduct the 0.20 posted and only posted the bal!

Glad to report despite the Error Message on needing up to 72 hrs to verify, the miles posted to AA today with 02/23 redemption date and 02/24 posting date.

I think we can safely conclude for the time being AA batch processing deadline is Sunday, just dont wait till late evening Sunday to do the redemption. :)

App survey completion issues
 
Using the e-rewards app, does anyone else get the completion screen showing points awarded but the ok button in orange does not work so the completion screen is stuck for a long time.

Also, keep getting safari cannot open page message more than half way through surveys or internet cannot connect 400 message when internet is consistently wiring fine on fibre. I think these latter messages are failing you but do not want to look to be failing you so far into the survey completion.

The app is absolutely dreadful to use. Some surveys require you to flip your phone, but the app doesn't allow that. Many dropped surveys with no credit. I've stopped using it.

Logging in issues
 
Anybody else not able to log in to their online accounts this afternoon?
I can sign in via the app but not via browsers, I’ve tried deleting my cookies, search history etc but still not joy

I got in on the browser on like the 5th or 6th time. X-ing out the top right corner to get to the green background screen login didn’t work like it usually does either.
