Hi all,
I'm looking to sign up to E-Rewards to boost my AccorHotels LeClub points. Ideally, however, I'd like to sign up through a partner that allows me to redeem points for a wide range of partners, and not just one. The LINK on the AccorHotels website has not allowed signups for at least 18 months, and instead directs users to a page to 'learn more' about E-Rewards. Previously, I had signed up through Virgin Australia, however this only allowed me to redeem for VA, and no other partners, so I got the E-Rewards team to close this account, so I could try to find another partner in which to sign up that allows me to earn LeClub points. Is anyone able to point me in the right direction for a partner that allows redemption for LeClub points, and ideally allows redemption on a range of partners, including Virgin Australia? I'm based in Australia, if that information is pertinent. Cheers, I know only of active invitations for Brazil, but you need a Brazilian IP and a telephone number for that... |

if you've redeemed miles for a particular airline (or whatever) in a previous e-rewards account, I wonder (?) if you'll run into a problem if you try and redeem miles for same airline account (or whatever) in your new e-rewards account.

I thought this too. I have two accounts at the moment and avoid redeeming to the same accounts from both. I don't know how much cross referencing goes on.

In the short term, I haven't had any problems redeeming to the same points account from two e-rewards accounts. That is, have done it several times, as long as the names match... Whether this will lead to closing I don't know.
Had my account from which I redeem to my mileage account and my wife's, from which I redeemed to hers mileage account. I changed the name of her e-rewards account to mine and redeemed to my mileage account - and the e-rewards account was closed. Then redeemed from my e-rewards to the same mileage account and it was also closed. Both times the miles posted though. This definitely didnīt happen before. So beware. |
Is anyone else finding a lack of surveys in the last few weeks?

Does anyone know what will happen to the Avios.com sponsored accounts (where the only redemption option is Avios)? The Avios program shuts down next week. I had a redemption this week and the Avios "automagically" turned up on my BA account, without any intervention from me.

There are a few different ways it could go. My e-rewards invitation was by way of Delta, and when they ended participation, I was given all the redemption options, both transportation and hotel, available in my country. On the other hand, I think the ex US Air participants just got moved over to having American as their sole transportation redemption option.
Hopefully the former Avios participants get both BAEC and Iberia redemption options at a minimum. |
Q: Today I got a redeemable avios total in my account but then discovered my avios account had been closed. So I opened a Vueling account to move the avios to but by mistake I put my wife's Vueling account number in.
I have tried to save the day by changing my accounts name to my wife's, do you think this will be O.K as I changed the name after the redemption but I know it can take a week or two to hit the avios account. |

Same question. I used to transfer e-rewards points to avios.com and further to BAEC. Since all native avios.com accounts are now closed, what to enter when redeeming at e-rewards? The avios.com chat told me to switch to "Rewards for Thoughts" because avios.com are no more partnered with e-rewards, however e-rewards is still listed on avios.com and redeeming on e-rewards to Avios is possible.
Anyway, you can sign up to Aer Lingus, FlyBe, Vueling and will end up with an avios.com account, so no problem using that, even if e-rewards do nothing in the meantime |

I think so. It was ok before, but they have certainly become much more strict recently and quite quick to close accounts...
