I was a member for at least 3-5 years at the time they went silent. Would it be worth rejoining under a new ID? Has anyone else had something like this happen and rejoined and got going with them again that way?

Yes, I closed down my old account and joined again with a new email but the same address and other personal info. And yes, it did help.

Thank you both Kremmen and mareh.

I think I'll open the new account but wait and see, based on what Kremmen says it may all be a sign of the hard economic times and the drastic cuts even in things like online promotional offers and surveys. Yup, even if they get going with sending me surveys again, it will never quite be like the late nineties/early 2000s, those were the days my friends!

Mrs.bob12403 almost hit the motherlode: a survey specific to her profession that would pay $57 in e-rewards dollars if completed successfully! We've never seen an offer that high before.

Unfortunately, she was only six very general questions in to the survey when she hit the "Thank you very much, but...." screen.

Just another $0.50 on the e-rewards toteboard.... :(

Has anyone been able to redeem Person A's e-rewards balance for hotel points and/or airline miles into Person B's account?

Is it as simple as entering Person B's account number & PIN on the redemption page?

neuromancer Mar 28, 2010 6:29 am

Yes, I have (and many others).
No, not that simple, but almost :) You have to change the account name to match exactly the account name you are transferring to (My account -> Update contact information).

Those were definitely the days for entrepreneural spirit in the promotional industry.

I just got a nice suprise. 25% bonus on my Delta Skymiles redemption. I didn't know there was a current promo.

What's up with E-Rewards lately. Ever since Saturday, every survey I have been emailed about is coming up with this message.

Thank you for accepting our invitation to participate in this e-Rewards earning opportunity. We apologize, but this opportunity has expired.

You may have another earning opportunity waiting for you. Simply click the "NEXT" button below to access new opportunities and earn more e-Rewards Currency.
I can understand the ones where I didn't see them for 3 or 4 hours but I got one about insurance, clicked on the link within 2 minutes and STILL got the above message. Is there something wrong with my cookies? Should I delete them? Is this happening to anyone else?

neuromancer Apr 20, 2010 4:57 am

Me too. Of about 5 recent surveys, all were expired. I managed to get somew points just for a quick survey...
By the way, I often get the surveys with a delay, for example I receive the mail and the survey appears in the list on 15th, but the survey is dated 10th. So others have had 5 days to answer before me.

+1. I wonder if they've got far too many participants by now, they need just a few replies (but that would be wrong when it comes to good statistics), or something's not quite right with their IT.

I hope they'll fix it soon. It's a shame, now that surveys were coming quite frequently...

After 7 months and toooooo many surveys I finally got $100 and therefore 7,000 HHONORS points which transferred instantly!

YEAH!

nalle Apr 22, 2010 4:28 am

I've been looking for a way to join for 2 years now, can anyone help me, what to do to become a member?

Kindest regards,
Nalle

I am an addict

After years of good returns e.g. 28000 HH pts pa I received no surveys for over a year. I cancelled my account then received invites from priority club and hilton which I accepted. I received over 30 invites in the nexr few months and EVERY ONE was expired when i logged in.

With my hand on my heart erewards is in my junk file permanently.

I think that if you join their partners (continental, Priority club, Hilton etc.) you will receive an invitation.

With that said, it is a lot harder now to receive rewards there so I am not sure you should feel frustrated.

Did you contact Customer Service about this problem? If not, why not?

It could actually be some kind of technical problem on their end, and if you notify them promptly, they might fix it. @:-)

(It's easy to contact their Customer Service via their website, and in general, you do get results from doing so.)
