I don't drink coke, but I've been in the other 3. I too will keep e-Rewards and drop the others.

Same with my account! I have been redeeming mainly for Iberia Avios, but I got that same email. As of yesterday, all airline options other than AA are gone ! But I can still get any hotel points I want.
BamaVol, those who are invited by an airline can normally redeem for all non-airline points but miles only of that airline, while those invited by a hotel co. are shut out of other hotels' points. I guess that we USAirways joiners just got lucky the past few years!
I have $19.xx of e-r, so I intend to hit $25, grab 500 AA, then quit!

Cool

+1 on both, Bobunf!

Not a good sales tool.

E-rewards [Master Thread]

I just got an e-miles offer, 100 e-miles for signing up for ERewards. I signed up, and, The primary redemption is to e-miles... Which is weird. I think this is new

Just new for you .... I got this a couple years ago. Bummer of a redemption choice; no airline redemptions, just e-miles. I use this one strictly for Hertz redemptions.

Like jgxtrav1 says, it's been around for at least a couple years - my wife's account is like that. It's not necessarily a problem, depending on how your e-miles account is set up. For example, her main e-miles redemption is United, so she redeems e-rewards for e-miles (which goes through in 5 mins), then she can redeem those for United when it goes through. Of course, those don't go anywhere until the end of the month, but at least she can do the e-rewards redemptions whenever they are ready.

Her bigger problem with e-rewards is their limitation of redemptions. She's usually ready to redeem in about 2.5 months and e-miles redemptions, like (all?) the others, are limited to once every 3 months. So takes a couple weeks off, not wanting to pile up rewards she can't use - their loss.

^^ some redemptions are once every quarter, but also, most airline redemptions are once every month.

Also, if you're mostly interested in airline miles, I would suggest signing up for E-rewards through a hotel, like Hilton. And then you'll have Hilton + about 10 different airlines.

I just checked my account and I still have Southwest. But I signed up for it through the link on Southwest. Do you have another email address you can use? If so open a new Erewards account using that email address through the Southwest website. Then any surveys after that will have Southwest as an option for redemption.

Gutted is kind of a dramatic word considering everything has stayed the same lol

This happens to me on occasion as well but the rewards usually show back up as available within a week to 10 days

Is anyone able to redeem for a Starbucks or Best Buy gift card anymore? The logos are still listed under "Rewards" but I get this message when I click on it.

"Thank you for your interest in this Reward.
Unfortunately, there are no Best Buy offers available at this time."

System seems like it will let me redeem for Best Buy. I've also got Starbucks listed as available rewards, but not enough e-Reward dollars to see if it looks like a redemption will work.

Thanks for checking. I'll give it a few days and see if anything changes.
