No, I was referring to the thread in the inside of the cap that holds the cap to the bottle when you screw it on.

In one style the thread is continuous -- one unbroken ridge. In the other style (the one that shows up as Powerade instead of Minute Maid although "Minute Maid" is written on the top of the cap on the outside), the thread "breaks" (has a discontinuity) at two points, one just above the other as it winds around the inside of the cap.

:D They do have a "Don't Know" answer, and I'm sure many of us use that in entering our dumpster diving codes. :)

Duranza & AsiaTraveler, true, the $50 off a hotel for 175 MCR deal is rarely a good deal. If U wanna look, enter "demo" as both username & password. Many Holiday Inns, Best Westerns & some indies & other chains participate, but the rates are ineligible to earn PC/ BW points. Also, AAA rates are often almost as cheap & do earn points.
However, sometimes that Website has a bargain rate. I wonder if it can help us claim a Best Rate Guarantee??

I found that coke zero caps were giving 6 points, I dont drink poweraid but I saw the double points promotion and clicked on it, it just gave me a box to enter code, so I entered a few caps and only the black coke zero caps gave 6 points...I assumed it was a coke zero promo until i read these posts. none of the 12 packs codes worked for me though.

Part of me is tempted to get PC points, but I have a nice round number in them and am curious about the Dec. deals, i wish they would give a preview instead of just teasing us with coming soon crap......Also noticed 250 points and some coupons for joining costco (which i was planning on anyway) so maybe just a few PC points after I sign up for that deal.

I'm happy enough getting the PC points, which I redeemed for yesterday. Have been participating in MCR since its inception, and have to admit it's getting pretty old as it takes forever to accrue enough points for anything desirable. Just like any addict, I've "quit" a million times, but keep going back. :)

I just got an email saying that CZ caps are now double points through 11/24. I've got a thread going on the blog since I'm trying to figure out if this promo is targeted, something that MCR hasn't done a lot in the past.

It's not targeted, it's posted here. I first heard about it early yesterday morning on this thread, if you are into MCR then you should probably be reading that thread on a daily basis.

It is not targeted. Mr. Kipper and I both received emails about it, and we very rarely enter CZ codes. :)

I see the 2000 Priority Club Rewards Points - Is Out of Stock.

500 PC rewards is "in stock" and my lifetime limit has apparently been lifted. :)

If you go upthread, you'll see that 500 and 2,000 rewards returned on November 1. The 500 point awards don't have any limit. The 2,000 point rewards, which went out of stock a few days ago, still have a limit, but it's now 1 per calendar year (subject to change on an MCR whim, of course.)

Strange, I went to redeem a code from a Coke, and when it asked which drink I'd gotten the code from, Coke wasn't one of the options. I double checked the code to ensure I'd put it in correctly, and I did, so I clicked on "don't know" and still got my 3 points. So all's well that ends well, but that's never happened to me before. tls
