Glad to see the PC points are back, saves me debating whether to take the Southwest code for a needed oneway trip and grow my TTF pile.

Thanks for the heads up on PC awards!
Cashed in 1500 points in a few accounts. Shy of 7 points for another award. :( |
Great to see the PC, but it stinks that HH is gone. tls

This is also what was happening with the Coke Zero Promotion. The small black Coke Zero Caps were coming up as Powerade and not giving you the Coke Zero Option. MCR apparently knew about that problem but never did anything to correct it.
I can see its: Here We Go Again Time. After I posted here the other day about the problem, the next day I entered some more of the Minute Maid caps and all registered as Minute Maid. "Great," I thought, "glitch seems to be solved." Today I again posted some, and was going along fine getting 6 points per cap until suddenly one registered as Powerade. I took a closer look at that cap, and the ones I had already entered with no problem, and discovered something. The caps that registered as Minute Maid and 6 points had a continuous thread on the inside, but the cap that had just registered as Powerade was slightly different, and had an interrupted (broken) thread on the inside. I looked in my stash and took out one cap with Minute Maid on it that had a continuous thread on the inside, entered the code, and got the 6 points. I then took a cap (also with Minute Maid on it) that had a broken thread on the inside, entered its code, and sure enough -- it registered as Powerade and gave only 3 points. So, there are two styles of Minute Maid cap, the one with the broken thread on the inside and the one with the continuous thread on the inside. For some reason, the ones with the broken thread seem to be listed in Coke Rewards' records as being Powerade. Strange. (So, I've quit entering Minute Maid caps with the broken thread for this promotion.) |

I think I know where the problem's coming from this time.

Nevermind. I found it in the travel section of the catalog Has anyone used the travel hotel gift card? and if so how do you register? it just shows a login area and forgot password. |

Woo just picked up 1,000 PC points! Sadly I only had 406 MCR points.
Also, when they ask "What drink did this cap come from?" I wish they'd add an answer of "Don't Know - Found Cap on Ground" :D |

(So, I've quit entering Minute Maid caps with the broken thread for this promotion.) What do you mean by a "broken thread"? Are you saying that there's a difference between (1) caps that have what looks like a space between the two rows of letters/numbers and (2) caps that do not? I've never noticed that being a key distinction before, although I have observed from time to time that Powerade and MM caps sometimes show up as the other. I don't think it has anything to do with this promotion. |
The problem seems to be solved, as I just noticed that there is now a double points promotion on all Powerade caps through most of November, too. It's a few hours too late, given that I just entered a few caps trying to figure out the flaws with the MM promotion, but overall I'm excited about the new promotion!!
