Rather than doing the holiday sale like in the past few years, it looks like there's going to be one discount per day for 12 days from Dec 1-12.

Has anyone seen info on what's going to be on sale?

Has anyone won the candycane game? Is there any skill to it, or is it just random who wins? I did several and it just seems like a waste of points.

You can do it for free if you look in the rules. But not sure if it's 1X or 1X a day...

My Coke Rewards now says that they are maxed out on the Family Dollar promotion:

Doesn't seem fair. I have a bunch of codes to enter from Family Dollar.

When did the 500 Priority Club points go out of stock?

The PC points were in-stock as of last night. Wouldn't be surprised if there was a run on them because of how they're instant redeem codes, and people grabbed them with their Family Dollar points.

I am confident that is what happened, hence the exhaustion of the F/D promotion.

I won a $100 gift card last year on the same game and a coke coupon. As I understand it, it is once per minute, so you just have to keep trying. I would only do it with the 5 free entries per day.

They probably shut it down because that was where the Family Dollar points were going.

They seem to be covering for the Family Dollar promotion department which is likely off for the weekend. Still, I'm betting the promotion already cost Family Dollar far more than they were betting on. Maybe Family Dollar set a limit, though. We're an opportunistic bunch, and that would have been smart. Limiting it to one per email would have been smarter.

Though the $50 and $35 Nike codes, which someone on Slickdeals said were also instant redemption (but are limited to one redemption per month) are still showing up as available.

Anybody try to play the Family Dollar game in the last few hours? Did you receive your email with the 20 point code? I just played twice, and no code both times. :mad:

I played this afternoon and received the codes, but MCR won't take them, anyway, so it doesn't matter.

Added: I played again just for fun, and I didn't receive an email, either. So they've shut it down at both ends. Or maybe they won't let you use your own email for your 'friends' anymore.

About an hour ago, I was able to redeem a code that I had won this morning, and I got the 20 MCR points, no problem. But I am not receiving any new redemption codes, but the game is still playable.

Oh well, it was worth about 1800 points. Monday morning, some game designer is going to have some explaining to do.

I was bored last night and accumulated quite a few points and then it started to freeze up on me. I would get to the screen where I could send the emails to share the link to get me unfroze and the site would just freeze up.

I am sure someone is going to get chewed out tomorrow for allowing unlimited entries and allowing the link to be sent to the sender and used multiple times. I hope MCR doesn't try taking the points back.
