? How often does the dbl pts 4 Dasani come around? And what r some of the regular promos that normally/regularly come up on MCR such as Dasani's? EX: does Powerade do something such as this?

workshops at Home Depot are usually not a very good deal since a lot of times they just don't teach it. Has anyone had the same experience or agrees w/me?

I'm sure it depends on the particular Home Depot. Mrs. Gargoyle did several of their workshops, including a couple on faux painting, and leaned enough to do a really nice job painting several rooms of our house and the walls of my showroom.

For prior workshops, I believe they gave out codes at the workshop, IIRC.

Tabernac! :D

LearningToFly Mar 31, 2010 10:05 pm

I suggest "Tabarnac", my friend, little tricky though. Some partial explanation: Tabernac, as you elegantly suggest, is in fact too close to what we wish to escape, that-is -to say the religious connotation of the word Tabernacle (where Corpus Christi awaits to be eaten). Tabernacle cannot be said, it is a sin, tabernac is too close to the latter, so tabarnac will not exclude us from heaven. Thanks for the glampse!

Cool! I took intensive courses in French at Universit'e de Montr'eal in 1994 & learned of tabarnak, estie, calisse, etc. :D !
The codes on Cokes sold in Canada have 10 characters & are valid only on icoke.ca, while US codes have 12 characters & work on mycokerewards.com .

Have you ever been able to login to that www.myhotelgiftcard.com site with UN:PW demo:demo? Because I haven't.

Canadian Coke Rewards code for the takers:
PEXLF CR5YN

Foxberg, I don't remember. When the $50 codes first came out, I got the idea from other FTers that they were too restrictive to be worthwhile, such as most chains call such bookings ineligible for earning points & night/ stay credit :( !

BTW, have U ever checked out the hotel-booking engine of MCR? Use points for up to a 22% discount on hotels incl. HI, unfortunately probably with the same ineligibility.

Thanks, I kind of figured that's what one could expect for 200 MCR points. Since they took away PCR vouchers this MCR program became really useless for me. I have few thousand points laying around, so I guess I'll start adding them to my primary account. Maybe they'll come up with something worth redeeming for.

I was able to get into the site using demo/demo, did a couple of test bookings to see what the savings is and its usually about 8 or 9 dollars. So the 50.00 certificate gets you about 9 bucks off the cheapest rate found on Kayak, but no points or miles, etc.

I'm holding down to mine too, even though I don't have many yet. Don't see anything worthwhile that I would like yet either.

Ditto on holding onto them......Nothing at all worth cashing them in for as far as I'm concerned.
