Luckybear, I hadn't heard of that one, but I have deposited 20-point codes from 24-packs!

foxberg Feb 9, 2010 11:34 am

These 20 can packs are new ones. I saw them in the local supermarket.

yeah the same price as the 24 pack only you get 20

they did what the beer guys figured out ages ago.. instead of raising prices, we will just cut down on the qty and keep the prices the same

Olympics Bonus

For the first 5 codes entered on days when either Apolo Anton Ohno (Speedskating), Gretchen Bleiler (Snowboarding), Evan Lysacek (Figure Skating), Angela Ruggiero (Hockey), Keauna McLaughlin and Rockne Brubaker (Figure Skating Pair) win any kind of medal, you will earn 5 bonus MCR points. Limit for the entire Olympics is 25 bonus points.

These bonus points will post after the Olympics is finished.

This is any easy way to turn a limited number of 3-point caps into 8 MCR points!

I have been drinking pepsi lately since it has been on sale, but received the dreaded note that both accounts points will expire on the 14th since no activity lately. I guess I will have to make a run to the streets to the recycle bins on my neighbors to find 2 flaps or caps to keep them alive until summer. Just when I thought I was past scrounging!

You can also burn three points by entering a sweepstakes and keep the account alive. Any activity will do.

Starting to invade the Chicago burbs :td: Only saw the 20 packs in Chicago but now the Oak Lawn Jewel (or as us south-siders say: "Jewels") is flooded with them. Ended up getting 4, 12 packs at a CVS for $10 compared to the $11 it would have cost for 2, 20 packs at Jewel :o

Does anyone know if any of those athletes won on Sunday, Feb. 14th? I don't understand sports and I've been trying to find out but can't understand the charts.
I think Ruggiero won that day , but I'm not sure.

Can anyone help me?

USA only

Hockey goes many rounds so you'll have to sit back and wait.

OZ, who admits he doesn't even know if USA is still alive in hockey :o

***No wonder I didn't hear anything, USA just played its first game today D'OH.

Running out for other medalists and bonus points though ;-(

The login script seems to be broken.

***EDIT*** Never mind. Problem solved. I had to reinstall Flash Player on my Mac.

Odds are very good that either Lysacek or Bleiler (or both) will win a medal tonight, Feb. 18.

Lysacek won the gold. He performed on the 18th but the competition ended after midnight. So does the day of the win count as the 18th or the 19th?

Well, it was still 18th in Vancouver, wasn't it?

***EDIT***: Question, is it 5 points per code entered or per an athlete? There are 25 points max one can earn for this, so 5 caps on a day of the medal would give those 25 points?

Yes but MCR operates on Eastern Time. I called up MCR and even they could not answer the question of how the date is determined (they said they's send me an email).

It is 5 points per code entered that day upto a max of 25 points for the promotion. So 5 codes entered on the correct day would give those points.
