Typical. Stuck at 495 from September 22 or so, and no offers until yesterday.:(

Not saying its a conspiracy or anything, but now have to wait 3 months for my NW miles.:p

Can't complain, though, erewards and emiles have been very good to all my family's accounts. Tens of thousands of air miles (across 5 FF programs) and tens of thousands of hilton hhonors points t' boot.^^^

Thank you for the info, I'll keep checking over the next few days.^

The miles you earn with e-Miles are deposited in your preferred frequent flyer account once per quarter; January, April, July, and October. Each Sponsor airline requests you allow 6-8 weeks after e-Miles quarterly deposit submission for miles to post to your frequent flyer account. If they haven't been credited by that time, please contact your frequent flyer program's customer service number, or e-mail e-Miles Member Services at [email protected]."

First 500 posted in April within 2-3 days; however, have only earned 340 since!:(
Anyone else hung up with minimal miles???
How are others listing profiles to get the 500 miles quaterly???

Although free miles are free, sometimes time and waiting are not worth the benefits.

Kiwi Flyer Oct 5, 2007 3:15 pm

The first lot of 500 was quick - about 6 or 8 weeks. It has taken about 7 months to get to 400-something. Too sloooow.

bob12403 Oct 6, 2007 4:19 am

E-Miles deposited today

My Delta account had the 500 miles from E-Miles credited this morning.

IIRC, this is the same pattern as before--points are deducted from the E-Miles account a few days after the end of the quarter, and the miles are deposited into the airline account approximately 3 days later. All in all, about one week from the end of the quarter to complete the transfer. Compared to some other mileage offers that take 6-8 weeks, this is a pretty quick turnaround. No complaints here.

UCBeau Oct 6, 2007 10:45 am

Mine have also transferred in, yesterday it appears.

Winglets747 Oct 6, 2007 10:52 am

Nothing on the US or NW accounts, but they usually take longer than DL.

I have the same experience. First quarter of the year I earned 500 miles without any problem. Since then I have earned only 320 miles and I'm sure that I didn't miss chance to earn more by just clicking mails.

2travelfar Oct 6, 2007 3:59 pm

Ditto here on the accumulation of miles for 3rd qtr...I've only gotten about 340 and done every survey but didn't buy any of the products offered. I've reviewed my profile, and it's accurate for me...tho' I think some may 'distort' their profile to receive more surveys, etc, thus increasing their opportunities (IMHO). Same thing with e-rewards (sister company)...3rd quarter was the pits!!

My point exactly!!! Who (what profile) is getting all the miles we keep hearing about? income?? Location?? male/female? etc????????????

Winglets747 Oct 7, 2007 11:26 am

Keep in mind that for about every e-mail e-Miles sends saying there are reward opportunities, there are two occasions when there are opportunities e-Miles doesn't notify you out about. So just check your e-Miles account every few days.

Completely agree. I didn't receive an email, but logged in yesterday and had 3 offers.

Need help on e-miles

This is a very long string, so this question may have been answered

I am currently a OP member but also have a WP account. My status is with OP as is my miles (I have a lot). Is it better to accumulate miles in one ST account or should I have some miles in 2 ST accounts? Or is it better to have one ST account and a different affiliation such as oneworld. I have an account with US as well, so should I join e-miles with US or CO or NW?? If this has already been answered please direct me and I will read. Thanks for your time. BTW, I fly all 3.

How long after the quarter did the US miles post last time? I am waiting for these 500 miles to put my balance over the 50k miles I need.

Nevermind - I see from a post back on July 12 that the FTer's US miles posted that day. I guess I have to wait a few more days.

Thanks for info; however, I do check on an almost daily basis without seeing any new offers available. I also understand that some may choose to purchase or complete associated offers.
Question was more focused on whether offers are shotgun'd to all members or focused on profiles as is its sister site (E-Rewards)?

BingoLoco Oct 8, 2007 8:10 pm

I expect it to take a bloody year to get to 500 again. I'm at 145.

same here, and most of the offers aren't even remotely interesting to me.

Marathon Man Oct 8, 2007 9:19 pm

since the beginning of emiles I have redeemed 500 to my NWA account only once. I now have well over 300 and I never do anything but answer the initial survey and get the 5points. I dont want the hassle. Although there was one Guinness thing I signed up for. Maybe that's more.

Have any people gotten 500 more than 2 times? If so how?

Lastly, I always say I am interested or would like to see the ad ops again in emiles. If you do that, there will be more opps to get the 5 points at least!

I have only had 2 redemptions (out of a possible 3) and will definitely have a redemption for the last quarter (500 miles for sure, possibly 1,000). I don't do anything special, except to sign up for bonus opportunities that are completely free, like the Hertz mailing list (25 miles), picture.com (50), Adobe Acrobat (200), etc.

This is a 2-part question. The first--about having one SkyTeam account vs. two--is best to be answered in the SkyTeam forum. I would post there the details of your accounts (if you have "a lot" of miles in OP, then what's in your WP account?) and seek the advice there.

For the second part regarding which airline to sign up with for e-Miles, IMHO you could take two views:
Let's say you fly with CO/NW more than US...
1. ...so you want the miles to go to your biggest account.
2. ...so you want the miles to go to your smaller account, thus extending the expiration date in the event you don't find yourself traveling with the airline.

oiuyt Oct 10, 2007 8:32 am

Total accumulation for me to date is 1345 (just got my second 500 transfer a few days ago -- 1st and 3rd quarters). So I expect another 500 at the end of the year.

I don't do anything special. As with Winglets I sign up for things that are free and don't for anything that costs.

ecq Oct 24, 2007 8:57 am

Last quarter i had a lot of surveys. I did use their special offers once for Horchow or was it neiman marcus? and others were to sign up somewhere. I haven't bought anything to get any special miles.

oiuyt Oct 24, 2007 9:40 am

Just broke the 500-mile threshold again. Hoping that end-of-year things will get me up over 1,000.

2,000 miles/year isn't tremendous, but it's not like it takes much of my time either.

Marathon Man Oct 24, 2007 1:42 pm

I did that Adobe software thing but have yet to see 200 miles post to my account from it. That was a few weeks ago now.

Only Delta remains?

I've check my e-rewards account yesterday and again today and I only see Delta as an airline redemption option.

This thread is about e-miles, not e-rewards. (Yes, I know they're run by the same company, but they are separate programs.)

Which program did you mean?

500 NW WorldPerks miles from e-Miles posted on 01/01/08. ^

My e-Miles posted to my DL account ^, but so far haven't posted to my CO account :( - it does say "deposit" so there is hope! (I have 2 accounts/emails.)

I haven't joined e-Miles yet. It seems e-Miles has the same rule as e-Rewards:

from e-Miles Member Agreement:

"By completing the registration process, which includes submitting the e-Miles Enrollment Form, you become an authorized user of the e-Miles Service (a "Member").

Section 1) Eligibility

1. The e-Miles Service is limited to individuals only; corporations or other business entities may not become Members.

2. The e-Miles Service is limited to one account per individual, even if an individual has multiple e-mail addresses.....
"

Boston_Bulldog Jan 5, 2008 11:22 am

Best that you don't advertise having 2 or more accounts

They catch you with two accounts they will void everything and shut both down.

Same for eRewards. Same for myCokeRewards.com

they have tools to match up things to catch you.

edlin303 Jan 5, 2008 12:50 pm

Is there a way to see exactly when/where points camme from? I seem to have gotten 100 I wasn't expecting, which pushed me over the edge just in time for Jan1. Not that I'm complaining, just curious. :)

Oh, and no sign of them in my US account yet.

Yes, be very careful if you have multiple accounts. These sites use the same military-grade technology the U.S. gov't uses to find Osama. ;)

Oh, and no sign of them in my US account yet.

1. Go to "Account" then "Account Statement" and change "All Types" in the drop-down menu to one of the options ("Mktg Msgs" is probably your best bet).

2. US seems to take the slowest.

ingy Jan 7, 2008 4:11 am

Thank You I'm done

Being an addict about miles, I always did these and now realize how insignificant the amount of miles earned were in the grand scheme of the miles thing.

Deleted my account and wife's.

Now waiting for last $25 redemption on e-rewards (which have really slowed down) and I'll be free from that one too.

Just my personal opinion of course.

well, yeah, but freedom is just another word for nothin left to lose, and nothing is what bobby left me.
:D

I figure if it doesnt take too much stress it could stay worth it. I did however raise an eyebrow when Dec came and went and I saw nothing convert over, but now it's there in my NWA account and hey, 500 is 500. On the other hand, if it starts to fall apart I will bail. I have always said that/

Bangkok Dave Jan 8, 2008 5:17 pm

I can't believe this thread is still going one year after I started it. I'v picked up 1500 miles in that year and I'm close to another 500. After that, I'm gone.
Just not worth the long wait between opportunities.
