Everytime they wrote back to me about a missing account number, it was listed at the bottom of the email! I notice now that it is entered at the beginning of the redemption page so the workers in Bangalore can find it.

Still waiting on my Father's points to post after they listed them as fufilled on 3/23. He wrote to the United online company who is the new owner of MyPoints and asked them what were they thinking in buying into this horrible example of customer service. He has not received a reply so it looks like the new company will have the same level of service as the old.

duplicate, sorry!

Judy--

Thanks for pointing this out. I got this lame response today.

Thank you for contacting MyPoints Member Services.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but without your account number
there was no other option, but to cancel the redemption.

Our records show that you have placed a redemption request on 4/16/06. So long
as you included your Hilton account number when making this redemption your
Points should transfer in the next 3-4 weeks.

Again we are very sorry about the problem with this past redemption, but we
assure you this redemption will be a breeze.

If you have any additional questions please contact us at
[email protected].
Have a nice day.

Best regards,

Kate H.

What amuses me is what you pointed out, the number is at the bottom of this chain of emails.

Same here, redeemed on 3/24, points posted this morning (three and a half weeks later). After reading about other people's experiences, I guess I'm one of the lucky ones who didn't have any trouble with this.

Just keeps getting better....

Katie--

Would you be so kind as to tell me something....How is it that my Hilton HHonors number is included in the original auto-generated part of this email
if I never sent it to you? To explain your system to you, when I redeemed the bottom of this email was sent to me and it clearly had my number in
it.

Exactly 7 weeks and my 2500 HHonors points posted today. :)

How do you guys rack up so many mypoints? All I ever see is garbage promotions--so I click and get 5 points. How do you do it?

philipperv May 30, 2006 8:00 pm

I have a question for anyone who can answer it:

I just requested the transfer of 2500 MyPoints to my HHonors account but my HHonors account may be cancelled due to inactivity while the transaction is being processed. Will Hilton reactivate the account if I can prove that I made the transfer before the account expired?

How long does it take survey points to post in Mypoints? Usually I just click the 5 point things but I decided to endure a survey--and "endure" in the word. This thing was like 5 times longer than any e-rewards survey--and for a lousy 300 Mypoints. I won't do THAT again. So, two days later the survey points have not posted whereas the 5 pointers are pretty much immediate.

If you log into the website you may find that there are 'pending points' waiting for the survey people to validate that you answered the survey or something.

Bloody gits. I have 15 points pending. They skunked me on the survey.
