I emailed recently pointing out that I have unsubscribed from their email and will not be using their site at all any more if the Hilton rewards don't post more quickly. About a week later, I had a reply saying that my reward had been posted. The total elapsed time was "only" about a month, so it was much quicker than the 8 weeks I've been waiting for the other ones since the "new" mypoints site.

(I never knew single-letter names were possible here. Good way not to be able to be found on search engines!)

Cashed in for 2500 Hilton Points on January 1st, 2006 and today my points posted to my Hilton Account. It only took two eamils from MyPoints responding ot an email I never sent and 3 responses that indicated that they didn't read the 3 emails I did send. What great customer service. Only 80 days and more effort to get the points than it took to earn them

Yippee Skippee - My HHonors points finally posted. Redeemed on November 22 - posted March 23. Only 4 months and 1 day to get into my HHonors account. Boy is the "new" MyPoints great. NOT!!!!!

Wow. That's quick. :)
I'm more used to delays such as this:
Redeem 12-21-05 2,500 Hilton HHonors Points
Fulfill 02-23-06 2,500 Hilton HHonors Points

But they've always been in my Hilton account once marked as fulfilled on mypoints, so I'd pester them if they don't appear within a day. (Given how flakey the Hilton site has been recently, who knows which of these twits is at fault this time.)

My husband's MyPoints account shows 3-22-06 2500 Hilton HHonors points redeemed...nothing about having been fulfilled...but!!! the points showed up in his Hilton account this morning. I almost fell over.

I am also still waiting long past the promised posting date. Mypoints shows the award has posted but no points have appeared in my HHonors account. Their advice was for me to contact HH. I advised them that either they contact HH and deliver the benefits they promised or I would be finished with their program.

So, my ex-wife's account has been waiting for a transfer since December. Here is the response she got today:

Thank you for contacting MyPoints Member Services.
We were unable to process your redemption request because we never received your
Hilton HHonors account number. Without your account number we had to cancel
your redemption. Your Points have been returned to your account and you can
redeem for HHonors Points again if you wish.

We have updated our web site and now you will be asked to enter your HHonors
number when making a redemption. This change will make the redemption process
much smoother and faster. I advise you to write down your account number before
beginning the redemption as other members have had problems when they clicked to
another window to retrieve their account number.

If you have any additional questions please contact us at
[email protected].

Total BS. You can't redeem without having the number and the points would never have left the account without entering her HHonors number. Ridiculous.

I agree. I guess you'll have to print out the page where you list your account number before clicking the redeem button. Too bad you have to do that, though.
