My 12/24/2005 redemption still hasn't posted, although I'm waiting to give them the full eight weeks before e-mailing.

I hate having to wait the full 8 weeks. I'm trying not to be pessimistic, but I know it won't post by then.

I emailed them about one that's still not posted after 5-6 weeks and, after 10 days, they replied:
"Thank you for contacting MyPoints Member Services. Due to contract obligations with Hilton, it can currently take up to 8 weeks for the Points to transfer."
...?

I submitted a redemption on 12/29. I have not yet received my points, and I also haven't followed up yet. However, on 1/31, I received this unsolicited e-mail from MyPoints Customer Service:

Dear Sabrina,

Thank you for contacting MyPoints Member Services.
Rest assured your Hilton HHonors redemption is being processed. Our records indicate that you redeemed your Points on 12/29/2005. Please allow up to the full 6-8 weeks for the Points to be transferred to your Hilton HHonors account.

If you have not seen the change in your HHonors account balance within the specified timeframe, please provide your HHonors account number and we will be happy to contact the vendor on your behalf.

Thank you for your continued patience.

So maybe they were proactively sending out this sort of notice because they know they're having problems with HHonors posting timeframes?

Nothing here either for my Hilton Transfer or points for my $90+ purchase from Overstock.com (900 points)

no, they don't hate just you :-) I tried redeeming MP - > Hilton points once and it took 8 weeks or more.....very frustrating, and like someone else said, one account goes DOWN, you want to see another one go up! Since i am more of a instant gratification kind of a gal and like to touch my rewards, now I just redeem points for gift cards. My experience has been 100% good over the last 4+ years, even during the holidays, if they aren't out of stock.

It is all frosting on the cake I am gonna have AND eat too since I get MP for buying stuff I'd buy anyways at websites I already use.....spend a couple hundred bucks at Office Depot then book a few tickets for co-workers through MP on united or travelocity, and buy my mama flowers for her birthday (a day late), then I can go to macys or barnes and noble :-D

I feel like I'm trapped in MyPoints Customer Service Hell. I got an email response to one of my inquiries today -- a month and a half after I sent the inquiry. Their response? "We are in touch with the merchant on your behalf and are awaiting a response. Please allow up to 6-8 weeks for this issue to be resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your continued patience."

This is absurd. I have one redemption thats on its 12th outstanding week, and another on its 9th. And now MyPoints is telling me it may be another 6-8 weeks.

My points finally posted as well..also took 8 full weeks. I'm not sure I want to transfer to HH again due to the posting delays.
