Finally after 4 emails to Mypoints and one to Overstock.com, I received a personal reply concerning my Overstock.com points from Mypoints saying that they received the purchase info from OS, but since it did not list the subtotal before taxes and shipping, they could not award points. I went back to the tracking page on OS and pasted that into the email. No tax and $1 shipping. The purchase finall posted my 900 points.

Still nothing on Hilton. For the frustration factor I will now wait until I have 5000 points per transfer and not 2500, so I am not waiting for multiple points to post.

Just got mine today... took about 7.5 weeks. Almost the entire time, but glad they finally posted.

Still, I think from now on I'll use my points for gas or restaurant cards. They always appeared quite quickly.

Immediate email back from MyPoints

I just redeemed 2500 MyPoints for HHonors and immediately got this email (despite my not sending mypoints anything). Why?

This is just an auto email. I still have mine from December even though I still don't have the HHonors points.

I am at 12 weeks today. No Points and no response to my emails. I am done with these jokers the second my points post. This is just not worth it when I could just spend $75 at a Hampton Inn and get this many points.

The saga continues....

This morning I found this in my inbox from Mypoints:
The funny thing is that I entered my number at the time of redemption, and that number is under the "additional contact information" in their original auto reply that has been going back and forth between us. They obviously have not trained their people where to find this information, so this will be an issue on alot of our redemptions.

Dear Judy,
Thank you for contacting MyPoints Member Services.
We apologize for the delay with your Hilton HHonors Points transfer. According
to your Account Statement, you placed your redemption on 1/25/06. Unfortunately
we were unable to process the redemption because MyPoints did not receive your Hilton
HHonors account number when you originally redeemed your Points. Please reply to
this email with your Hilton HHonors account number, along with First and Last Name
that is listed on the Hilton HHonors account, and we will process your request.
Once we receive your account number, you should see the points post to your Hilton
HHonors account within 2-3 weeks.

Please let us know if you have not seen the change in your HHonors balance within
the specified timeframe and we will investigate further.

Please contact us at [email protected] if you have any additional questions.
Thank you for your support of the MyPoints program.
Have a nice day.
Best regards,
Kate H.

You have Got to be kidding!!

I found this in my box tonight. If you will remember in previous posts I HAD entered the Hilton number in the original redemption, and it was in every email that Mypoints sent to me! This will now take 14 weeks for a 2500 point redemption!! BTW the link at the end for the survey did not work either!!

JudyJFLA

Dear Judy,
Thank you for contacting MyPoints Member Services.
I sincerely apologize for the long wait for both your points and a response from us. I found that the delay in your Hilton HHonors Points was due to a missing Hilton account number. Because you provided it in your email I was able to send that information off to Hilton. Unfortunately Hilton now has 6 weeks to post the points. Perhaps if you contact Hilton they can speed the process up for you on their end.
Should you have any more questions please don't hesitate to email again at [email protected],
Have a nice day.
Best regards,
Kate H.
