I'm curious too, since it seems to generate a unique certificate number ("Certificate Number: SUB2Q7613D"). Even if the dealership give their validation code, they probably wouldn't know if the cert number was valid.

Where are you getting the certificate code? When I click on Learn How it takes me to a page with a blank certificate code & a blank dealer code.
Does the dealer provide the certificate code???

Well this turned out to be a fluke. The certificate code SUB2Q7613D seems to be valid but when the dealer went to the website and entered in their 6 digit dealer code, it came up as "this code has already been used."

As an aside, whatever dealership you go to, I would jot down their dealership number so you can enter it yourself for future promo use. Those are just dealership identifiers, like store numbers, and don't change. The exercise is just to make sure you go to the actual dealership to get it.

Level 2 - if you have a window sticker or just look for one on the lot, the dealer's number will be printed on there as well. Thus, no need for interaction.

Took a 500e testdrive after receiving snail mail from Fiat promising $50 Amazon gift card at DGDG in San Jose. After handing the salesperson the card and taking the test drive, the sales person said they didn't "know how" to enter the dealer code, or what it was, and their manager was "out". Too bad for me.

You are nicer than me...I would have told them to get on the phone to someone who was not a clueless twit and give me my $50:p
