Seems like as long as I go to the vendor site first (before going back and clicking on the Starfish), I get points ..... cool!

If you just type in Audible in the search box, you won't find it. First go to the Shop tab, then search under books, then scroll down to Audible. Got another 5 points.

Confirmation that Marriott GC's are probably gone for good :(
 

I asked MyPoints if they plan on re-stocking the Marriott Gift Cards again at any time in the future.

Their response?

"Max M, as far as I know the Marriott gift cards will not be restocked. I'll pass your feedback along with regards to reconsidering that and adding Hyatt."

So maybe if enough FT'ers express that they'll switch portals or drop MyPoints completely unless hotel gift cards are a redemption option, maybe, just maybe, they'll offer them again.

Otherwise, this isn't good news. :(

Good suggestion! I would think that expressing serious disappointment and probable reduction in participation if one cannot redeem for Marriott Gift Cards should be enough. The "I'll quit" threat isn't always taken seriously.

Have 9K of mypoints. Suddenly, I am not able to login and get an error message:

Customer service didn`t respond.

Should I suspect something fishy (9K is quite a few points), or, it`s a temporarily IT glitch?

I think it's a glitch, not the number of points. I've had more than that numerous times without problems. Did get locked out a couple of months ago. Since I was in a hotel room with VPN, I thought that was the problem, but it persisted when I got home. I clicked the forgot password link, got an email with link to change it, and that solved the problem.
