Wow...that was fast. Gone again.

I don't understand why people even use this MyPoints program. All they do is spam my inbox with emails, with 90% of them being advertisements to take surveys or play games. Hardly any are click-thru's for 5 pts, etc. Most other shopping portals also have higher payouts. Once I finally reach enough points to cash out for an Amazon gift card, I am done with the site.

I created four filters in my yahoo mail:

if sender contains "mypoints bonusmail";
and body contains "receive 10 points per dollar", then send to spam folder;
and body contains "receive 5 points", then send to my special mypoints folder;

if sender contains "surveymail", then send to my special mypoints folder;

if sender contains "mypoints", then send to spam folder.

Obviously, the order is critical here; that said, these work perfectly for me, delivering only real point-earning offers/surveys to my inbox.

I have all of them go to a mypoints folder, and open them while watching TV or such.

The two United redemption options that were there yesterday (for 2,500 miles and 5,000 miles) aren't there right now.

Wonderful. I just went over 12k a few days ago, and wanted to redeem for UA miles, but am waiting for some pending points to finalize. A lot of these prizes disappear and then return shortly .... let's hope that's the case here. tls

I redeemed for the miles a few weeks back and am waiting for them to show up in my account. Checked MP and they haven' refunded the points at least so I assume they're still going through.

Not only is the United mileage redemption back, but now they post immediately!!

Go ahead! Rub it in! I've been waiting a month and a half, and my United miles have still not posted.

I redeemed July 5, 2014 and nothing has shown up yet. Oy vey.

That is good to hear! UA miles just began to post instantly from e-miles and apparently e-rewards as well (posted the same day for me, but not sure if it was instantly), so this appears to be a positive trend for UA. tls

Interesting that you saw the Marriott GC, as I wrote them and they just replied that they were no longer participating with Mypoints! I then redeemed for UA and also got an instant posting.

Just as a word of caution:

I received the email and noticed in the fine print that it said that you're limited to doing the Suave/Noxzema offer once every 30 days.

I wonder how the determine the 30 days--- when you submitted the receipt or when after the points went out of pending for the last offer?

Who knows whether they'll actually enforce that though.
