So, recently I was reviewing my points postings for a number of IHG stays and saw that MP was posting an incorrect number of points (sometimes, they double the dollars and gave 2 or 2.5 pts/ when there should have been 15x with their recent offer,) or they were missing entirely. In response to my email, I get a standard form reply about "Complinace" that MP can't verify that I booked thru their portal, even though many of the stays were posted and awarded (incorrect) points. Now, without explanation, I have a negative account balance. No reply as to why or which transactions were involved in this fiasco.

I've used them a long time for "double-dipping" on IHG stays, and anticipated using them in the future for Marriott, once SPG is folded into them.

If they can't properly respond and communicate-even though their communication was at time spotty in the past-No More. There are other choices.

Haven't gotten any 5 point emails in awhile. Is this normal now?

I've gotten a fair number of e-mails this week. Maybe check your spam folder? Sometimes they end up there instead of the main mailbox.

So I'm kind of impressed. Did one of those $9.99 at GSN for 11K MyPoints' promos about three days back, and paid out of my PayPal account. The MyPoints have already posted as redeemable and the first 6900 have been safely converted to United miles.

Nice when something works well for a change in GPT-land.

Judy, MyPoints doesn't work on an "invitation" basis, so ALL REWARDS should be available to EVERYONE SUBSCRIBED. And BOTH awards are available as I type...

Both awards work differently: UA's are 5K or 10K Mileage+ FF points (subject to UA's rules) while AA's are in a $100 / 250 / 500 eGift Card (NOT on AAdvantage points, so use it as you need for flights). You can get BOTH awards if you have enough points.

So collect what you need...

Can someone explain what is going on with MyPoints? Most, if not all, of the point-earning opportunities appear to be shut down. No videos, n'Crave very limited, only a few surveys.

The same thing is happening to me. I think it's related to ad-blocking software. tls

My experience is that some particular days there are NO Surveys available, like on yesterday Saturday 2/18 (always try to take Surveys until I get the 5 max daily disqualifications), sponsored videos appear on an erratic schedule (except for a consistent chance just after 0000 EST or GMT-5) and nCraves are a PITA to get (most of the time there are "browser mismatches" and not a good use of time).

Regular videos are doable, but forget about getting the 500 MyPoints max on any day (it will take almost 1/2 a day to achieve; most able to get are ~ 60 in what I do have available) and be on the lookout for "you have AB enabled" gotchas, even if you have made the proper procedures. I do have AB+ enabled on GSN, but not on MyPoints.
