I wish you good luck and hope you get the ticket today or tomorrow. Please inform us as soon as you get another email or something else from Swiss. In a week I would call Swiss and verify if the ticket is issued and what was charged to the credit card.

My Qualiflyer account shows the booking as confirmed. However - this said, I did miss the Qantas Tallin-Sydney seats a few years back because I did not have paper tickets in my hand. On the same note - I just finished the HEL-PDX run on SAS for 65GBP with paper tickets. So I have a 50% success rate with these ticket mistakes. Lets hope!!!! I'll keep you informed.

Please do not mention the words "targeted promotion" when I am around. I am unfamiliar with that concept. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/mad.gif

SWISS ticket office in London has called to me some minutes ago
The staff has told me that the fare was wrong.
They accept their misstake for persons who pay the ticket with credit card issued in UK, but for non-UK credit card holder.
That means I, non-UK credit card holder, can not get the business class ticket LHR-EZE return for GBP320, even though I have paid the ticket via SWISS web site as well as UK credit card holder. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/mad.gif

There is no logic in this matter as the web site did not mention the fare was only for UK creit card holder.

What do you think?

Ask them to confirm what they said by phone in writing - this exact reason - and then ask for a supervisor to honor the fare, the reason is clearly a stupid excuse. If they honor the fare for UK card holders, they have to honor it for everybody.

Hello,

I am really sorry and don't know what to say! My ticket was paid for with a Swiss issued credit card but an Irish address, can they get away with it?

I know several people in Switzerland who will be extremely annoyed, having already booked EZY tickets.

What are you people doing?

Hello,

Just wondering what your booking status is showing on Swiss.com??? Now, well over 48 hours after the original booking, it is still showing confirmed for €516 per person. I could see they have a point if they called an hour after the booking but 48 hours has to show an intention to contract from both sides.

Also what about those of us who already booked our flights to London?

Again, I am extremely sorry about all this!

Jeremiah
