DFW-DOH: Tandoori prawn and chicken biryani disappointed—rubbery shrimp, chicken with a microwavy kind of scent, mushy biryani. Below business class standard.
DOH-KTM: Lamb and prawn tartare were a hit—moist shrimp, good lamb. Chili paneer with okra was excellent, perfectly spiced. Palak daal lacked palak, but overall taste was much better.

What’s Whispering Angel like? It is being marketed aggressively with a dedicated bar at BA’s T5B LHR lounge and has featured on a couple of websites. I remember an article on TLFL and there have been several mentions on HfP. Now it’s made it to QR in flight for J.
I am flying QR in a few days so will sample even though I usually avoid pink wine like the plague!

Whispering Angel by Chateau d'Esclans (Lichine property) is a good Cote de Provence rose.
But Chateau d'Esclans makes much more expensive/better rose wine. With a different process though and a different taste.
