Had it flying DOH-MEL. Very nice indeed. Warm without being hot, spice-wise, and the beef was tender.

Anyway, CPH-DOH QR162 (mezze, chicken mashkhool, cheesecake and cheese)...

DOH-MEL QR988 (soup, Thai beef, chocolate mousse and cheese)

No Alexandra yesterday. Laurent-Perrier on IAD-DOH and Duval-Leroy on DOH-BLR. I'll upload photos and menus after this trip.

Barramundi Machboos is available for pre-order on the return. Sounds interesting.

Ace of Spades or Bollinger. That is a good selection! You said that was F menu or was it still J menu? Can I get so lucky on my flight in June

I know this is what I am now referring to as 'business class problems ', but the wine list has really been quite downgraded. I tried a small amount of each of the wines on recent flights and all were ok but none I immediately wanted a refill. Price levels are now similar to that we would purchase at home. QR wine list used to be more 'special occasion' level. (I feel an awful snob saying this, compared with other airlines where the choice is 'white or red?' - but I had become rather spoilt to try some lovely wines onboard that were a little out of my price range)

Wine list was identical to this on all 4 of my flights.

OSL-DOH 1st April
DOH-SIN 2nd April
BKK-DOH 18th April
DOH-OSL 19th April

Anybody recommends any of these options?

I really enjoyed the new mezze a few days ago on QR15 DOH-LHR:

Classic Arabic mezze with pita bread
Pesto hummus, labneh tahini and avocado muhammara.

(the old one was described as "hummus, moutabel and tabouleh")

It was definitely tastier than the mezze I had in F on EK the day before.

The problem I've always had with the mezze in QR J is that they're so generous with it, there's so much. I can't eat it all, let alone eat the mezze and then the rest of a dinner.

Have you tried the mezze in EK F? It makes QR's J mezze look like emergency rations!
