That's great news - the old lounge was really a bit of a disappointment. Is the new lounge also in the central part of T1 or is it in the satellite from which QR flights go?

The new lounge is within the lounge complex, in the centre of T1 - directly ahead and up the lift, as you come through passport control.

The pics look amazing. It actually looks better than the Al Mourjan, though I'd probably think differently if it were full of an A380-load of C and F passengers.

I'm not actively considering changing my next trip purely to try out the lounge...

I will taste it in a couple of weeks, but the pictures look amazing. Far better than AF J lounges.

The lounge is nice, you will forget you are in the old T1.
I will have to give another try but i found the food very good: had a solid lunch with a very decent Salmon Risotto.

That was a quiet opening.
Both Qatar and OneWorld websites still list the lounge at CDG for Qatar as the crappy Salon Premier.

It is still a soft opening.

Expect a press launch when the A350 starts flying into CDG.
