Yes, there is more space at your feet that rows where someone is sitting in front of you. I find it easier to stretch out in row 1 (I'm 6'1) but my wife (5'8") didn't notice anthing different.

On which seats are the bassinet Locations in the A350 in Business? Unfortunalty I can't find any seatmap including them.
Which seats would you recommend for a Family of 4 (1 Infant, 1 child and the 2 parents)?

Do you have Oneworld Sapphire status (or above)? If you do then you can select these seats unless of course someone is already in them

I flew in a window seat in row 7 recently. The footwell seemed the same size as the standard seats, it didn't have the shaped footrest like the pics above.
You get an extra small cupboard compared with a standard seat but I don't think you would fit a bassinet in front of you. In my experience, row 1 was always available at OLCI (I flew 4 A350 sectors last month)

QR provides a 360-degree view on their website:
A350 Google Maps Street View
For me that helped getting a feeling for the cabin and finding a nice seat

Ausriver why not? If you would feel more comfortable that way then do it. The EFseats do not appear to be designed for couples, just individuals. However do remember that there are galleys and toilets in the front of the cabin which will result in a deal traffic so choose your row carefully.
