Nah, 353 - Latest date I can book a Qantas flight at the moment is Friday 13th February, 2009.

More specifically here:
13.2.3 Award Flights must be booked between 353 days and 24 hours before the scheduled departure. ...

You still have alcohol in your blood. The 2008 thread is the one you are posting in at the moment.

Maybe ADL could be possible for 2009? Would have to stay clear of the Clipsal 500 weekend though.

QF81 is ideally timed for a F lounge experience in SYD. Departs 11:05 and arrives in ADL at 12:45, just in time for the Coopers to be turned on in the QP.

I don't think availability would be a problen on this flight (except for the constraint above).

Good thinking SFSC ^ That flight is late enough that those travelling from outside SYD can easily connect to it.

I agree! Personally, I think the QP at ADL is one of the best, if not the best Domestic QP. Having Coopers available doesn't hurt either!

Hmm Saturday AKL-SYD, F lounge, international SYD-ADL, AGM, hilton points
Sunday international ADL-SYD, F lounge, SYD-AKL

I like it.

So when do we have a decision on location and date?

Ohh, that sounds like heaps of fun. I'm definitely up for that one, or even the BNE-SYD-MEL-BNE run. ADL would almost be like a QF FT overnight OzFest.

I can't see SYD-ADL-SYD on the QF website after the end of Oct though. (QF81 & QF82)
