As i was planning to book this, i can't seem to find it anymore :(

Seems gone for MNL on a quick search but still available to KUL, CGK, BKK and maybe some others.

Yes, i tried everywhere, but no luck. You think it will come back?

Anyone have any experiences with a voluntary change before or after flying the first leg?

I haven’t flown any segments yet but I want to change my return from MNL-ATH to MNL-AMS or MAD. An agent quoted me a ~450 euro difference for changing the flight now. But the agent recommended that I should actually wait until the outbound has been flown, suggesting the fare difference would be even lower. Based on the fare rules, that likely will not be the case as this sale is only from ATH. Is that a correct interpretation?

Category 31: Voluntary changes

A. BEFORE JOURNEY DEPARTURE USE FARES IN EFFECT TODAY
B. AFTER JOURNEY DEPARTURE USE HISTORICAL FARES BASED ON TRAVEL COMMENCEMENT

Any luck on this? A couple of days ago, I saw very good fares ex IST on GF but turned out 4 times more expensive when trying to book on Saudia 😏 Im looking to travel 2-3 weeks in August.

Ex-Tun might be an option. Haven't check lately

Seeing ATH to SIN from €876 with long but no horrible long layovers... No availability at least with a quick search after October and sparse before it...

Delta flyers would obtain 12034 MQMs and 2407 MQDs or a 2.58 MQD Ratio

Even with a side viewing trip to MLE. Also currently SV winter schedule is super thin to Asia. That might also limit these fares.

Thanks. I ended up booking TUN/JED/KUL return for USD 1281 via SV website.

According to the AF app, this should give me 32,067 miles and more importantly 108 XPs, which is more than enough to extend my AF platinium for another year.

8-10 hrs stopover in JED T1, I very much hope the new (?) SV lounge has a decent relaxation area 😏

The lounge had about 6 nap rooms against the side wall before the main lounge eating area, but every time I’ve been they’ve been taken. Plus there’s 3 pod type lounge chairs in the main area.

I find the lounge too noisy for having a snooze.

Got to agree with MaxFlyer here - next time I have long stopover I'm going to take the airside airport hotel.

But according to your handle name you don’t sleep anyway! 😜

The airside hotel I think is a flat $100 for 6 hours and you can’t pre-book it.

The moments I was in the lounge there was at least one nap room free :)
