Hi do you call the Saudia call centre in Saudi itself or just any branch? I was on the phone waiting for 40 minutes only to be cut when someone from Saudia picked up. I wonder If it is smart to call the contact centre in Athens, so please give some advice.
`Alternatively a local sales office, maybe an airport office should be able to help if you can drop by for a face to face enquiry. If you bought the ticket through an OTA, there's always the chance the airline will ask you to deal with the agency. |

I recently was in Jeddah and the new airport is amazing compared to the old terminal. Proper check-in stations, train to move from check-in/security to the terminals with jet bridges as well as new restaurants and lounges.
Family flew on Saudia in J with the refreshed seats and said that they had a great experience. On the other hand, the lounges needed work, and the taxi times were ridic. |
The fare is back with great OW prices as well: I see ATH- KUL for 498$ from May on Tuesdays,Thursdays and Saturdays. Due to the 3 PM departure from ATH same-day positioning flights shouldn`t be any problem.
Booked a OW myself for September. Malaysia just seems to have postponed the reopening plans for March, so watch out, if you want to fly directly in May. |

Are the ATH-MNL flights back? I got reimbursed so might as well rebuy it.

Also can fly to MRU. Would have jumped on it if only it didn't require an overnight connection at Jeddah.

some Indian cities are attractive at 370 OW / 750 RT... Don't remember if they were available in the past
New Delhi https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...fc9a68ebea.jpg Mumbai https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...65665ee6cb.jpg |
Saudia starting BKK in May, so ATH-BKK available for ~740 EUR rt but with horrendous transit on the outbound and pretty bad on the inbound.

SV 870 to MNL
FlightAware shows regular flights from JED to MNL by Saudia, but Saudia's website seems to know nothing about them. Maybe flying empty?

Saudia's site now has flights to MNL.

Not sure I would ever describe a four hours flight that starts at 2AM "Attractive", let alone on a dry airline. But to each their own ;)
