I always use this line: "You sure are a sight for sore eyes" to the IQ challenged like the TSA/Hooters Girls/Strippers and so forth.
By the time they figure out, I am on to 5th topic !!!

Hmmm. So now I am equated with "IQ challenged TSA/Hooters Girls/Strippers". Not too sure if I like that or not. You probably don't get a lot of chicks that way....

Dude...winking is not sexual harassment. Or at least, not in my book. Maybe there was another reason for the secondary. In an interaction, I always take winking to be a sign of friendliness. "Have a good day"<wink> or "Don't work to hard" <wink>...not a big deal. Now if I was sitting in the food court, and someone was a couple tables away and winked at me as I was shoving a giant burrito in my mouth...that would be creepy! But still not sexual harassment, just a perv

the point is that if TSA insists on having secondary screenings for "high risk" passengers, it should be for high risk passengers, not for people who wink at TSOs, or people who question or argue with them

Part of making good tips is chatting with the customers but she never disclosed personal information, like the fact she was a law student. They'd be on to the 5th topic and never realize

You must look at the frequency, whether it's hostile and whether it's unwelcome. I'm sorry you would be offended by a wink (I would not and I also wink), but you won't get anywhere accusing someone of sexually harassing you based on this. I represented real victims of sexual harassment and I get quite upset when anyone makes false accusations. It makes it harder for those real victims to be taken seriously.
Finally, the fact that you think it's perfectly appropriate to issue a retaliatory second for a wink says a lot. I'm not one to always complain about TSA but this is wrong. I'm a little surprised that anyone would think differently.

So, if I was thinking about making hubba hubba with her, it was harassment but it wasn't otherwise?? That doesn't seem quite fair. It's like thought crime. My mind is a temple.

My girlfriends dad winks at me pretty regularly. Don't think that's sexual harrassment, in fact its somewhat intimidating! Perhaps the agent felt intimidated.

A single wink is not sexual harrassment. That's a ridiculous notion.
What has happened to us in America that people would actually justify the retaliation against a passenger for a harmless non-verbal gesture? Some of my fellow posters here seem to equate a wink with "the finger."
I recommend a TS&S Forum field trip to CDG. More than once I have had very lovely women security agents start to flirt with me, especially at the gate. Personally, I was flattered.
