Secondaried for Winking at an ID Oogler
In the lead up to the podium the other day, I noticed that the screener designated as the ID oogler looked a little frazzled but she was cute, shapely, and just the sort of sweet little thing you'd like to see smile. So, I winked at her and I was secondaried. It was the first time I've been secondaried in over a year.
So, I need to know, is winking at screeners against the SOP now? My poppa always taught me to appreciate beauty, and if anything is a violation of the First Amendment, this is it. I should be able to express myself with my left eyelid any way I wish to. |
Where did this take place? I think there may be some more interest in doing this ..... again. ;)

Be my guest. If you try this out and get secondaried, post here. |
Retaliatory Secondary for Winking? Post their names...
Come on FT friends, there continue to be numerous threads around here about retaliatory secondaries, yet no one seems to be willing to name the TSO's who engage in this behavior.
See: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showt...tory+secondary AND NAME THOSE WHO ENGAGE IN RETALIATORY SECONDARIES. After all, DHS might reward them with an Employee of the Week designation. |

Did she look mad when you winked at her? How exactly did she SSSS you - just send you to the SSSS lane? Also, were you SPOTTED (interviewed)?

And did you actually refer to her as a "sweet young thing" while going through inspection?

Sounds like you didn't wink at her for fun and jest, but more because she was cute. She may have taken it as sexual harrassment, and therefore wanted to see you nekkid?;)

I wondered that too. There's also the chance that they don't go much for "sexual harassment" of the TSA staff :)
I'd be amused to see court proceedings that determine that a passenger winking once at a same-sex-as-passenger TSA screener is unlawful "sexual harassment", especially when the winking is done by a heterosexual. |

Do tell. If one can get a free grope by simply winking, I think FT would like to know.

On what legal basis would a court consider a single wink to be unlawful "sexual harassment"?
