I think the frying pans should be placed into checked bags is much better to keep safer from the aircraft. It does not allowed beyond the pans into the secure area. I think that mean you should ask Bart about it. He does know when he will telling you about frying pans.

I've made it through security for years with 10 dozen frozen tamales, all wrapped in tinfoil, in my carryon on my flights at Christmastime. I was worried the first time I did this, but apparently, others had done it that year too, so when I went through security, all they said was "Your family must like those things."
I guess this year, I'll have to check them, & risk TSA getting hungry & eating my family's Christmas Eve dinner.

Here's an unusual carryone
The strangest carry on I've ever seen was when I was walking to the gate at LHR, after having gone through security. A woman (dressed in spandex and 1970's fur boots) was carrying a mirrored disco ball. I would have given anything to have been at security when she went through!

Back in the seventies a friends father was non-reving on UA from SFO-ORD. My friend gave him a package to take to her mother, a couple pounds of San Francisco sourdough starter. The plane hit altitude, and the yeast started rising... and rising...
