Well, you got lucky then. Last October I was stopped at LGA on a Thursday by the screener who objected to my cast-iron fry pan, meant as a gift. He claimed it could be used as a weapon. (without even tasting my cooking!! ) I was forced to leave it there, in "lost and found". When I asked if I could pick it up on my way home I was told it would be gone by Monday. I guess x-mas shopping starts early there.
