You might start with people over 55. There has NEVER been an attack anywhere in the world by elderly people. The supposition that terrorists could recruit elderly people is just STUPID!

And Kids. Although you may have been thoroughly brainwashed about imaginary threats, there has NEVER been an attack on Aviation worldwide by kids.
Nor have there ever been an attack on any target in the USA by kids.
The supposition that terrorists could recruit kids (in the USA) is also STUPID!

Its crazy to treat ALL travelers as potential terrorists. You completely lose sight of the objective!

Well TSORon doesn't treat everyone the same, he admitted that he is profiling.

It doesn't matter what a terrorist looks like. TSA's job isn't to apprehend terrorists.

Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden, born 1957 Current age, 53

Just to name one, or are you of the opinion that he is not a terrorist? What would be "stupid" would be making inaccurate assumptions.

As for kids, well let me ask you this, just because there has not been does that mean that there will never be? You cant imagine someone using a kid to sneak a grenade onboard an aircraft? Children are used all over the planet to fight wars, using one to take an aircraft down is not that big a stretch of the imagination.

Really? Just where have I admitted this? A link would be real nice.

Knowing what they look like would go a long way towards preventing them from getting on board a commercial aircraft, wouldnt you think?

I was taught in school that 53 was less than 55.

Thank you for finding that. I looked and could not.

Ronnie, OBL is not setting off bombs. He is, if he is still alive, a mastermind, but he's not actively participating.

Hmmm, somehow that statement does not support your claim. Interesting, or did you intentionally spin what I said into what you chose to believe? Not all that honest if you ask me, but then again you seemed to have missed the point of the comment anyway so I guess I can understand how you might want to choose some random meaning and assign it.

Hmmm, planning, funneling money, representing. All these are "not actively participating". We obviously have different definitions of what "actively participating" is. I prefer mine, it seems to be a bit more accurate.

Ron, do you believe your employer tells you more credible information than it shares with the public?

Tells me? Yes. Provides access to it? Yes.

TSA has an extensive web site for employees that provides us with a great deal of useful information, but we actually have to use it for it to provide the information.

Also, we get training weekly on a wide variety of subjects. Everything from Muslim Holy days to intel briefs on trends in explosive manufacturing. All of it is credible and most of it is useful. Some just does not seem to make any sense at all, but after all this is government service.

Two points.

Ron I think your statement is clear in intent that you profile. You can deny all you want.

About TSA's training, when will Nexus card training take place?

TSA's job isn't to prohibit terrorists from boarding commercial aircraft.

There are other ways to accomplish that mission than apprehending people whom you suspect of being terrorists. Some might argue those ways are, in fact, more effective.
